The research aims to describe (1) the main character's adaptation orang rimba culture; (2) steps in providing education "Sokola Rimba" novel. This qualitative uses theory of Literary Anthropology and Pedagogy. data source is Butet Manurung's Rimba". form story units containing pedagogical literary anthropology elements. Data collection techniques include reading object study accompanied by theory, making indicators capture tables, grouping into tables. analysis technique begins with reducing inappropriate data, describing interpreting finally concluding results. results this are carried out character understanding local wisdom rimba, which includes considering honey tree as a life, believing natural signs, having skills obtaining food saving themselves, naming places rimba; teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, communicating while maintaining wisdom.

Honesty as a manifestation of the value social piety is an attitude that must be important provision in education system Indonesia, especially character education. In living their social life, humans are bound by various life guidelines to create harmony between communities. One can be taken from the values contained in literary works traditionally maintained among community, such as oral traditions. This study aims describe tradition Berasan event, a consensus deliberation event Bengkulu city community leaders preparing for marriage, and explain its noble life. Using descriptive qualitative method, main data this research is obtained sentences delivered participants form of conversation using local language. The was collected directly listening interviewing customary leader, leader's unpublished personal documents. results showed that full figurative sentences, namely rhymes, proverbs, convey intentions goals. While implied it include: religious values, humility, unity, empathy, firmness. It needs preserved maintain stability relations community.

The purpose this article is to obtain a representation of the idea Chinese ethnic assimilation as form life harmony in novel Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak (DKBC) based on author's worldview. This qualitative research with descriptive analysis and literary sociology approach Goldmann's genetic structuralism theory, Lotman's semiotics, Mukařovskŷ backpack's aesthetics. In addition finding worldview, text DKBC also seen dynamic aesthetic object. primary data source by Ahmad Tohari; secondary articles some reference literature related diversity harmonization. stages were carried out using first-level semiotic reading (heuristic) continued second-level (hermeneutic). results show an effort build harmonization through blending, leading harmony. emergence Mulyani's perspective, which different from her mother's DKBC, represents complex heterogeneous side human life. important message about heterogeneity Tohari's novels. such context, ideas that author voices well.
