Background. The gall mite ( Cecidophyopsis ribis Westw.) is a dangerous pest of black currant Ribes nigrum ), therefore the development cultivars resistant to C. an important trend in many breeding programs. objective study was identify alleles resistance Ce gene and selected seedlings released at I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Center. Materials methods. tested material included 22 41 forms currant. allele identified using diagnostic DNA markers: GMresa Ce-AFLP. Results conclusion. studied were characterized by absence Ce-AFLP markers (recessive homozygous genotype cece ). Among analyzed currant, dominant 51.2% forms. results obtained for -AFLP showed 100% matching distribution target amplicons within sample. Promising genetic sources protected identified: 1448-6-49 (762-5-82 × ‘Ekzotika’), 1511-4-68 (977-31-54 747-1270), 34-320 (‘Shalunya’ ‘Gratsiya’), 35-4-135 (‘Gratsiya’ ‘Sensey’), 35-4-148 ‘Chernavka’), 35-5-4 (‘Kipiana’ ‘Divo Zvyaginoy’), 35-5-36 35-5-147 (1448-6-49 with heterozygous Cece as well 31-1-72 (1511-4-68 ‘Lyuchiya’), 31-2-33, 31-2-35 open pollination), 34-2-36 35-6-138 self-pollination), 38-10-1, 38-10-5, 38-10-7, 38-10-9, 38-10-13, 38-10-16, 38-10-17 ‘Dar Smolyaninovoy’), or CeCe
