This study aimed to know the nature of effects digital journalism in shaping political mental image Turkish university professors. It also motives and reasons for their follow-up while following events around world. To achieve objective study, researcher relied on descriptive studies, within its framework, he used survey method, by applying method a public opinion poll with sample, distributed electronic questionnaire which numbered (103) academic professors working universities according appropriate sample method. The reached set results, most important was that Most use follow current (42.7%). reason through is it displays quickly (29.0%). Concerning prominent arts contribute formation image, pointed out technology “news” (AVT = 4.01) followed video where “video” 3.91) forming image.
