Abstract This research work was planned to test biosafety of different nanomaterials on the animals models. These nanoparticles were previously used as potential insecticides mosquito larvae. The these nanoproducts evaluated certain organs non target that associated with breeding sites in Egypt. Animal such kidneys rats, toads, and fish’s spleen models study biological toxicity nanomaterials. After 30 days receiving their water supply, cell mediated immune cells assessed tissues. Both TNF-α BAX immuno-expression also immunohistochemical markers. Histopathology conducted detect effect tested at tissue level liver both rats toads. Green nanoemulsion lavender essential oil relatively more effective, safe, biodegradable be against larvae than metal-based

Despite effective control of flies using synthetic pesticides, fly resistance and environmental contamination have led to the inadequacy this strategy. The use integrated pest management approaches has since been advocated in contemporary research sustainably populations. Recent studies found garlic (Allium Sativum) its derivative bioactive compounds possess insect-repellent attributes among other key health production enhancing properties. This highlights potential as a botanical pesticide cattle. Moreover, ability cattle naturally repel is influenced by animal genetic predisposition. dietary supplementation gene interaction disease could also be an influential factor repelling Transcriptomics emerged valuable tool breeding genetics which allows identification trait-associated genes understanding complex interactions between nutrients genome expression. paper explores nutrigenomic effects on contribution towards repellence efficacy It was concluded that diets offer sustainable approach managing infestations farming. These findings underscore importance further validate these assertions optimise under different systems.

ABSTRACT Botanical insecticides have emerged as valuable tools for integrated pest management, offering particularly appealing ecological advantages in strawberry cultivation. Restrictions the phytosanitary schedule pose challenges, such controlling Duponchelia fovealis Zeller (Lepidoptera: Crambidae), a significant this crop. This study aimed to evaluate toxicity and lethal concentrations of two commercial botanical insecticides, one based on Sophora flavescens extract other Azadirachta indica oil, against D. under laboratory conditions. Seven were tested each insecticide: S. (oxymatrine; Matrine®) at 6%, 4%, 2%, 1.5%, 1%, 0.75%, 0.5%; A. (azadirachtin; Fitoneem®) 8%, 0.5%). The synthetic insecticide chlorfenapyr (Pirate®) was used positive control (0.0104%, 0.0139%, 0.0186%, 0.0440%, 0.0587%, 0.0789%, 0.1042%), while distilled water negative control. Topical applications performed third-instar larvae determine through bioassays. flavescens-based exhibited highest fovealis, resulting mortality rate 95.9% 6% concentration. concentration resulted maximum 66.3%. (LC50 LC90) observed 1.97% 5.84% 3.93% 30.57% indica, respectively. Therefore, shows high potential an alternative

Crop losses in vegetables vary greatly depending on plant variety, cropping season, geographical location, and pest damage potential. Vegetable crops are heavily impacted by insect pests diseases due to their softness, fragility short duration comparison other crops. An emerging is one that has been observed a specific crop-infested area progressively increased population over time. Emerging have the potential cause economic harm. In words, an whose position shifted from minor major or secondary primary pest. The number of existing increasing, as arrival new ones, such mealybugs, fruit flies, stem borers, diamondback moths among phytophagous insects red spider mites acarine. Recent infestations, South American tomato pinworm chili black flower thrips, caused serious harvests. This review envisages variables contribute establishment invasive pests, persistence main general management practices, integrated achieve sustainable vegetable production.

House cricket, Acheta domesticus (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) is a significant domestic insect nuisance worldwide. Crickets are considered pests because they consume the fabric and fibers of clothes carpets, resulting in damage roughening surface. The purpose this study was to investigate effect botanical extracts comparison with insecticides on house cricket (A. domesticus). Five different concentrations Ricius communis (castor), Moringa oleifera (moringa), Azadirachta indica (neem), alongside cypermethrin, deltamethrin were used filter paper petri dishes allowed air dry at room temperature for 5 minutes. 20 adult crickets released treated each dish. To acquire reliable findings, procedures replicated three times one control. Mortality data recorded after 24, 48, 72, 96 hours mean treatment compared using ANOVA technique under completely randomized design (CRD). Tukey HSD test means 5%. In study, cypermethrin has highest mortality 81.67% followed by 76.67%, A. 75%, R. 68.33% M. extract lowest 58.33% treatment. Cypermethrin had rate, hence it proven be most effective against cricket.
