ABSTRACT
While
body
experience
is
a
key
focus
of
treatment
in
psychomotor
therapy
(PMT),
research
has
largely
overlooked
this
important
topic.
In
study
we
explored
three
domains
experience—body
satisfaction,
attitude,
and
interoceptive
awareness—in
individuals
with
mental
disorders
clinical
sample
receiving
PMT.
We
expected
these
patients
to
have
more
negative
than
nonclinical
controls,
PTSD,
mood
disorders,
personality
sex
negatively
affecting
all
experience.
The
involved
235
participants
aged
18–59
various
that
were
referred
PMT
between
2008
2017
at
health
center
the
Netherlands.

completed
questionnaires
on
