Objectives The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent’s mental health and relationships has received growing attention, yet challenges support needs adolescents living in existing deprivation are not well understood. current qualitative study, part a broader project cocreating life-skill workshops with young people, documents adolescents’ lived experience 4 years from pandemic. Design 20 semi-structured interviews 6 focus groups were transcribed thematically analysed NVivo V.12 to inform codesigned needs. Setting Islington borough North London, United Kingdom. Participants aged 14–25 (mean=18.3; 60% female, white) history difficulties (eg, health, deprivation, court order) referred by local authority teams our study.
