Background A medico-legal case (MLC) arises from an unnatural incident causing physical harm, necessitating intervention and legal resolution. MLCs integrate medical aspects, requiring both a physician's assessment investigation by law enforcement, often involving autopsy. The objective of this study was to find the prevalence epidemiological profile autopsy cases suicide at tertiary care hospital central Nepal.MethodsA retrospective cross-sectional conducted College Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal, between December, 2023 February, 2024 on suicidal cases. Suicidal data last three years (from 2077/78 2079/80) were collected Bharatpur hospital's record file. Descriptive statistical tools used for analysis. For, categorical variables frequency percentage calculated while mean standard deviation continuous variables. Data entered analyzed using SPSS-20. ResultsThe Medico-legal in Chitwan district year is 29.16% (with 95% CI as 27.23% 31.16%). trend increasing area. Majority (21.86%) age group 46-60 years. Male (64.11%) dominated female (34.42%) attempt 6-12:00 noon most common method hanging (81.57%). Most Monday occurred Ashoj. Conclusions Nepal. Among total cases, one third. burden significantly high among male
