LAY SUMMARY This article details self-reported mental health symptoms among Canadian Veterans pursuing post-secondary education in Canada. Participants reported high prevalence of psychological symptoms, most notably feeling exhausted (80.5%) and overwhelmed (78.9%). More than 1 10 respondents seriously considering suicide (13.4%), 5.9% had attempted the past 12 months. Introduction: Analyses of the Canadian Armed Forces Transition and Well-Being Survey (CAFTWS) were conducted to identify most prominent challenges faced by (CAF) Veterans during their military civilian transition, assess associations various characteristics, including release type health status, with experiencing such challenges. Introduction: The risks of suicidality (suicidal ideation or behaviour) are higher in Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Veterans (former members) than the general population (CGP). Suicide prevention is everyone’s responsibility, but it can be difficult for many to see how they help. Veterans transitioning to civilian life after leaving the military face unique health concerns. Although there is a significant body of research exploring veterans' experiences transition and predictors well-being, are limited studies examining how social group engagement influences transition. We explored Australian Defence Force identity influenced their adjustment well-being.Forty veterans (85% male; mean age = 37 years, range 25-57 years) took part in in-depth, semi-structured interviews. U.S. military veterans transitioning back into the civilian sector often experience a variety of challenges and need to readjust non-military environments. In order examine psychological involved in transition readjustment processes among U. S. active veterans, qualitative study was conducted. For 6 months, data collected from California, Nevada, Texas, Florida, New York. Following an IRB approval, semi-structured open-ended self-developed interviews were developed conducted with sixteen who have served 4 branches Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps. Reintegration and adjustment to civilian life after military service is crucial for veterans' mental physical health. However, there a lack of evidence-based interventions in Australia that specifically address the psychological cultural factors associated with improved health this group. The aim study was evaluate feasibility, acceptability, initial outcomes novel group intervention program, developed gap supports services Australian veterans. A non-controlled, within-subjects longitudinal design employed feasibility framework including assessment demand, implementation, integration, experience, perceived effectiveness, burden or discomfort. program included eight weekly 2.5-hour sessions using cognitive-behavioural acceptance commitment therapy techniques. Participants 24 transitioned veterans who completed Military-Civilian Adjustment Measure, Quality Life Enjoyment Satisfaction Questionnaire–Short Form, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21, PTSD Checklist DSM-5 at pre-intervention, post-intervention, three-month follow-up.
