Abstract Theoretical background Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are strongly associated with mental and physical health problems across the lifespan, emphasizing critical need for prevention. Sex-specific differences in both prevalence long-term consequences of ACEs have rarely been analyzed, especially longitudinal studies, which particularly needed. Objective This study explores risk protective factors as well intergenerational transmission from parents to children, a focus on sex-specific effects. Methods Data 316 families participating 18-year German project “Future Family” were analysed. The dataset included information mothers (54 years), fathers (57 their emerging adults (22 years). Results Daughters reported significantly more than sons, categories abuse neglect. Experiencing four or was higher levels psychological distress lower life satisfaction children. Research comparing penetrative technology-assisted child sexual abuse (TA-CSA) and (CSA) is limited. Existing studies indicate similarities among victims the consequences of their abuse. This study investigates experiences TA-CSA CSA, examining sociodemographic characteristics, nature abuse, mental health psychosocial consequences. Data was derived from German Sexual Abuse Telephone Helpline between 2020 2023, with information gathered anonymously during calls caller's consent.
