The global refugee population has significantly increased, with Syrian refugees being one of the largest displaced groups. Bereavement represents a major challenge. However, access to mental health care is limited by structural and cultural barriers. Internet-based interventions (IBIs) offer promising solution, but most are developed in Western contexts, limiting their relevance. This study aimed evaluate acceptability, feasibility, preliminary efficacy culturally adapted self-help IBI for bereaved Switzerland. In mixed-methods pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT), 30 were randomly assigned 5-week app-based intervention or waitlist control group. Semi-structured interviews group provided qualitative insights on feasibility acceptability analyzed framework analysis. Quantitative data assessed treatment satisfaction, adherence, grief, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, well-being, disability, post-migration difficulties, social support. Descriptive statistics used while linear mixed-effects models efficacy. High low dropout rate adherence 40 % found. Qualitative indicated was relevant beneficial, further adaptations suggested. ABSTRACT Blended psychological interventions, comprising online and in‐presence activities, represent an interesting opportunity to tackle the current well‐being mental health challenges in vulnerable populations such as international university students. Abstract Background Studying at university is a stressful time for many, which might result in the development of mental health problems. In first wave Covid-19, students Turkey reported suffering from an elevated level stress compared to their peers other countries. Mindfulness-based interventions could provide means successfully decreasing students. Moreover, offering via Internet be scalable option prevent and treat problems, while time/place flexibility, anonymity, cost-effectiveness. Method randomized controlled trial parallel design, feasibility culturally adapted internet- mobile-based intervention (IMI) (StudiCareM-TR) promote mindfulness among Turkish-speaking was tested. Participants ( N = 58) public Istanbul were into (IG) vs. waitlist control group (WL). Measurements took place baseline (t0) 10 weeks post-randomization (t1). Intervention adherence, acceptance, potential negative effects outcomes. Levels mindfulness, perceived stress, depression, anxiety, wellbeing analyzed linear regression models assess efficacy StudiCareM-TR. All analyses conducted with intention-to-treat sample, adjusting values. Results Based on participants’ feedback, StudiCareM-TR as acceptable, resulted few n 7), yielded improvements (β 0.70) presenteeism − 0.61) WL. Evidenzbasierte Internet- mobilbasierte Interventionen (IMI) können klassische psychosoziale Beratungsangebote ergänzen eröffnen neue Wege Versorgung. Anhand des StudiCare Projekts werden die Wirksamkeit, Adhärenz, Inanspruchnahme(-barrieren), Limitationen zukünftige Entwicklungen vorgestellt diskutiert.
