Parenting children with special needs, like those Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), poses challenges and often increases parenting stress, mainly because these require remarkable attention to optimize their daily activities. Parents who develop self-compassion tend be better at optimizing function as a family can accept child’s condition. This study aims examine the influence of on level stress in parents (ASD). Self-compassion is expected reduce experienced by caring for ASD. uses quantitative method 34 have or care measured using an adapted version original scale developed Kristin Neff Stress Scale (PSS). The data was analysed linear regression JASP ( Jeffreys’s Amazing Statistics Program). results showed significant negative relationship between ASD, 0.843 changes stress. Therefore, it concluded that result test indicates significantly affects parenting.
