Purpose This research aims to propose a high-performance-based model of remote teaching where trained teachers (those who deliver lectures by using different tools i.e. Microsoft Team, Zoom, etc.) can get the desired results through artificial intelligence (AI) awareness, knowledge sharing and transformational leadership in future. Design/methodology/approach is quantitative nature convenience sampling followed gather data from 307 faculty learning management systems, various universities federal capital territory (FCT) Islamabad district Rawalpindi Punjab province, Pakistan worked online home during novel corona lockdown. SmartPLS used for analysis structural equation modeling performed test suggested model. Findings Results revealed that AI awareness has significant positive influence on but exhibited negative impact teacher performance. Likewise, acts as partial mediator; however, moderates between working sharing. Originality/value During pandemic, mode instruction shifted physical online, generating several barriers were on-campus teaching. presented an effective knowing mechanism possible reliable implications at educational institutions developing countries outcomes calamity situations.

Purpose This paper aims to provide the integrated model with artificial intelligence (AI) awareness for betterment of higher education system in crisis i.e. fear contagious viruses (different kinds flu, monkeypox, chickenpox, COVID-19, etc.) corollaries developing nations where quality depends on teachers’ commitment, stress and turnover intention. Design/methodology/approach empirical investigation employs a self-administered survey distributed among faculty members within institutions (HEIs) Punjab province Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Islamabad, Pakistan. The final sample 622 was collected through convenience sampling, structural equation modeling performed SmartPLS assess proposed model. Findings study reveals that remote work significantly enhances organizational commitment while concurrently lowering Conversely, perceived negatively impacts but positively influences Organizational partially mediates between intention exhibited no mediation Notably, AI moderate amplify both working respectively. Research limitations/implications current extends AI-mediated social exchange theory (MET) by observing HEIs context working, stress, intention, awareness. Moreover, successful application AI-MET extended researcher’s understanding crisis. Practical implications offers several contributions including applications technical skills society’s welfare. should arrange training programs performance enhancement. Originality/value research provided quality-based deal forthcoming calamities deliver during lockdown. Nowadays, off-campus calamity situations has been an alternative on-campus education. Therefore, must introduce increase dedication toward welfare utilization full effort.
