Aging affects the structure and functions of all organs systems in organism. In elderly, significant changes hormonal levels are observed. These translate to a predisposition for chronic diseases, including cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, metabolic disorders. Therefore, tremendous scientific effort is focused on investigating molecular mechanisms drugs with potential reduce old age their impact. Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1), member sirtuin family deacetylases, has been extensively studied as regulator multiple pathways related antioxidant properties, optimal immune response, metabolism. SIRT1 plays key role regulating various maintaining homeostasis. present study, we review interplay between regulations, endocrine hypothalamic–pituitary–thyroid, –adrenal, –gonadal, –liver axes, other glands, non-endocrine tissues aging The application natural activators, such resveratrol, curcumin, paeonol, Buyang Huanwu Decoction, treatment senescence discussed. activators improve mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, promote longevity, but clinical limited by low bioavailability poor permeability across biological barriers. Exosomes, which are extracellular vesicles secreted and released from specific cells, exist widely in cell culture supernatants various body fluids. This study aimed to analyze the research status of exosomes stroke, predict developmental trends via bibliometric analyses.
