Early
diagnosis
of
oral
lichen
planus
(OLP)
is
challenging,
which
traditionally
dependent
on
clinical
experience
and
subjective
interpretation.
Artificial
intelligence
(AI)
technology
has
been
widely
applied
in
objective
rapid
diagnoses.
In
this
study,
we
aim
to
investigate
the
potential
AI
OLP
evaluate
its
effectiveness
improving
diagnostic
accuracy
accelerating
decision
making.
A
total
128
confirmed
patients
were
included,
lesion
images
from
various
anatomical
sites
collected.
The
was
performed
using
platforms,
including
ChatGPT-4O,
ChatGPT
(Diagram-Date
extension),
Claude
Opus,
for
directly
identification
pre-training
identification.
After
feature
training,
platforms
significantly
improved,
with
overall
recognition
rates
Opus
increasing
59%,
68%,
15%
77%,
80%,
50%,
respectively.
Additionally,
buccal
mucosa
reached
94%,
93%,
56%,
However,
less
effectively
when
recognizing
lesions

inflammatory
condition
that
affects

oral
mucous
membrane,
causing
discomfort
and
pain
for
millions
of
people
worldwide.
Challenges
in
managing
OLP
include
its
nature,
varied
clinical
manifestations,
poor
patient
compliance,
potential
malignant
transformation.
Recent
breakthroughs
therapy
have
opened
up
new
paths
dental
practitioners,
yet
persistent
difficulties
require
attention.
Topical
calcineurin
inhibitors,
photodynamic
treatment,
biologics
all
demonstrated
success
relieving
symptoms
delaying
disease
progression.
Furthermore,
advances
understanding
OLP's
immunopathogenesis
revealed
targets
targeted
treatments,
raising
hopes

tailored
methods.

BACKGROUND:
Oral
cancer
has
a
high
worldwide
incidence
and
mortality
rate
showing
an
upward
trend
year
by
year,
predominantly
occurring

emerging
countries.
squamous
cell
carcinoma
(OSCC)
is

of
the
main
types

cancer,
accounting
for
more
than
90%
all
cases
cancer.
OBJECTIVE:

evaluate
diagnostic
value
8-hydroxy-2’-deoxyguanosine
(8-OHdG),
8-iso-Prostaglandin
F2alpha
(8-iso-PGF2α)
tumor
necrosis
factor
(TNF)-α
as
biomarkers
early
carcinogenesis
erosive
lichen
planus
(EOLP)
measuring
their
levels
blood
patients
with
EOLP
(OSCC).
METHODS:
A
total
69
were
enrolled

case-control
study

OSCC
group

healthy

ABSTRACT
Objectives
The
aim
of
this
study
was
to
compare
the
topical
therapeutic
efficacy
triamcinolone
acetonide
(TA)
(0.2%)
plus
hyaluronic
acid
(HA)
(0.1%)
versus
monotherapy
in
patients
with
symptomatic
oral
lichen
planus
(OLP),
as
well
investigate
oxidative
stress
saliva
under
different
treatments.
Materials
and
Methods
Sixty
OLP
were
included

randomized,
double‐blind,
singlecenter
treatment

28
days
3‐month
follow‐up
period.

three
groups:
