The global healthcare system acknowledged the crucial role of disease knowledge in health outcomes and improving quality life among patients with chronic disease. A lack adequate understanding hypertension, its symptoms, available treatments can lead to poor treatment outcomes. present study aimed determine level hypertension associated factors hypertensive patients. Furthermore, we evaluated correlation between levels medication adherence them. was carried out 406 attending different primary centers Hafr Al Batin, Saudi Arabia. Participants' hypertension-related using validated knowledge-level scale, practice refill scale. We categorized score into low, medium, high, according Bloom's criteria. applied Spearman's test find strength direction adherence. used binomial logistic regression analysis low Of studied patients, only 10.3% demonstrated a high knowledge, highest were observed domains complications ( x¯ = 4.39, standard deviation [SD] 1.20) lifestyle 3.13, SD 0.69), while about drug compliance 0.62, 0.98) lowest. statistically significant positive regarding (rho 0.268, p 0.001) participants. that marital status (p 0.032), income 0.042), absence diseases are for knowledge. findings highlight moderate gaps understanding. underscores need better education at centers. it is recommended future prospective studies be conducted within various cultural contexts.

Essential hypertension, a common multifactorial condition, is significant public health concern. In India, the prevalence of hypertension high, with estimates indicating rising trend. Shirodhara, an Ayurvedic therapy, has exhibited potential for stress reduction and relaxation. Thus, review investigates effect Shirodhara on systolic diastolic blood pressure its impact clinical symptoms like palpitation, insomnia, giddiness, fatigue, headache in essential hypertensive patients. We searched PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Google Scholar, Shodhganga, Web Science search this systematic meta-analysis from inception to June 2023. Evidence RCTs was synthesized as standardized mean difference (SMDs) pressure, comparing participants who received intervention along Ayurveda medication those only medication. The Revised Cochrane Risk Bias tool randomized control trials (RoB-2) used quality assessment trials. Analysis done using Medcalc software. comparison table provided percentage relief both groups. Out four RCTs, three were included quantitative analysis, which mentioned standard deviation pressure. Meta-analyses revealed effects ( n = 100), (MD) − 1.257 mmHg, (2.660–0.145), I 2 89.3%, 100) MD 0.40 (−0.79–0.01) 0. notably higher groups than drug group. lowered significantly, but it low value. Shirodhara’s remained unclear. Relief symptom score notable. Larger, well-designed research needed prove effectiveness management optimize therapy methods.

Atherosclerosis is a chronic progressive disease which known to cause acute cardiovascular events as well cerebrovascular with high mortality. Unlike many other diseases, atherosclerosis often diagnosed only after an or fatal event. At present, the clinical problems of mainly involve difficulty in confirming plaques identifying stability early phase. In recent years, development nanotechnology has come various advantages including non-invasive imaging enhancement, can be studied for atherosclerosis. For targeted and treatment, nanoliposomes provide enhanced stability, drug administration, extended circulation, less toxicity. This review discusses current advances tailored liposomal nano-radiopharmaceutical-based techniques their applications atherosclerotic plaque diagnosis. further highlights nano-radiopharmaceutical localisation biodistribution-key processes pathophysiology Finally, this direction future nano-radiopharmaceuticals potential tool assessment diagnosis plaque.

A BSTRACT Background: Ischemic heart disease (IHD) is a major cause of illness and death among the elderly in India. This study assessed prevalence risk factors IHD an rural population. Methods: cross-sectional at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, Wardha, India, from 2022 to December 2023, included 168 participants aged 60 above. Data were gathered through questionnaires, exams, lab tests. Multivariate logistic regression identified determinants. Results: was 44.6%. Hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes significant factors. Hypertension (OR 3.5), 2.8), dyslipidemia 2.9) key independent Conclusion: High rates highlight need for targeted interventions addressing modifiable Routine cardiovascular assessments are essential reducing this

ABSTRACT Background Despite previous studies, the relationship between triglyceride‐glucose (TyG) index and coronary artery disease (CAD) is still undetermined. So we aimed to investigate association TyG CAD. Method A total of 2346 subjects were enrolled in study categorised into 5: those with no CAD, angiogram negative (Ang−) patients, single‐vessel (SVD), or two‐vessel (2VD) three‐vessel (3VD). Demographic characteristics, history biochemical investigations recorded. was calculated as Ln [fasting TG (mg/dL) × fasting glucose (mg/dL)/2]. Results Adjusted regression models demonstrated that odds 3VD (OR, 5.847; 95% CI, 4.391–7.784), 2VD 4.943; 3.597–6.791), SVD 4.722; CI 3.448–6.647) a 3.137; 2.431–4.049), increased significantly per each unit elevation index, compared healthy participants. Also, for being (1.864, 95%CI 1.402–2.477, p ‐value < 0.001), (1.575, 1.143–2.171, = 0.005) (1.505, 1.097–2.065, 0.011) by one‐unit Ang− group. Conclusion Our demonstrates significant elevated presence severity Higher values consistently linked an likelihood multivessel especially diabetic patients. These findings suggest could serve valuable marker assessing CAD risk stratification.

Introduction: Atherosclerosis is a complex disease influenced by biological and mechanical factors, leading to plaque formation within arterial walls. Understanding the interplay between hemodynamics, cellular interactions, biochemical transport crucial for predicting progression evaluating therapeutic strategies. Methods: We developed hybrid in-silico model integrating computational fluid dynamics (CFD), mass transport, agent-based modeling simulate in coronary arteries. The incorporates key factors such as wall shear stress (WSS), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) filtration, interaction smooth muscle cells (SMCs), cytokines, extracellular matrix (ECM). Results: Our simulations demonstrate that integration of CFD, phenomena, provides comprehensive framework atherosclerotic growth. successfully captures mechanobiological interactions driving development suggests potential mechanisms underlying lesion progression. Discussion: proposed methodology establishes foundation developing platforms test interventions, anti-inflammatory drugs lipid-lowering agents, under patient-specific conditions. These findings highlight multi-scale models advance understanding atherosclerosis support personalized treatment
