This study investigates the influence of career awareness on STEM interests among Foundation-year students in Mogadishu, Somalia. By examining self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and academic performance as mediating factors, research provides new insights into complex relationships that shape students’ aspirations fields. Data were collected through a survey 321 across four private public universities analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling R-Programming to ensure rigorous evaluation validity reliability. The findings reveal self-efficacy plays pivotal role motivating pursue careers. At same time, positive expectations achievements further reinforce their interest pathways.
