Endometriosis is a complicated condition characterized by inflammation, low oocyte quality, and decreased uterus receptivity, associated with fertility issues. This study aims to better understand the reduced pregnancy outcome in endometriosis analyzing both granulosa cells (GCs) follicular fluids (FFs) obtained during assisted reproductive technology (ART)-related pick-up. Seventy patients, approaching our ART Center diagnosis of infertility for Age-Idiopathic Factor (AIF) (n = 36), (ENDO) 23), or male factor (MF) 11), were enrolled this study. GCs from each group separately analyzed morphology, replication, expression Connexin-43 Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Receptor (FSHR) microscopy, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry. Results show that FF culture medium allowed survive replicate. Upon culturing ENDO fluid, increases observed population doublings development fibroblast-like muscle-like morphologies. Despite undergoing morphological changes, consistently expressed FSHR. However, exposure fluid led an upregulation across all GC groups. These findings suggest endometriosis, contains unidentified factors can induce aberrant differentiation, overexpression Connexin-43, potentially contributing dysfunction.
