Using energy efficiently is crucial for economic development and sustainability. However, excessive use of fossil fuels impedes sustainable growth, the released emissions have a negative impact on environment. Still, there no consensus in literature as to side effects or even regarding determinants used assess this relationship. As such, article explores that CO2 (carbon dioxide) renewable consumption using fixed assets, human capital, research development, foreign direct investment, labor force, international trade controls, sample 27 EU (European Union) countries between 1994 2019. Four different methodologies were applied sample, namely ordinary least squares, effects, random generalized method moments first differences, allowing endogeneity be accounted for. Results show gross contribute positively growth; however, though these contributions increase due consumption, occurs at expense more emissions. This may justified by high dependency group. Policy implications are presented policymakers, governments, light sustainability climate change.

This study optimizes and evaluates a Photovoltaic-Wind-Battery/Electric Vehicle Charging Station (PVWB/EVCS) system using four Multi-Objective Optimization (MOO) techniques: MOPSO, NSGAII, NSGAIII, MOEA/D. The main goals are to minimize the Total Net Present Cost (TNPC) Loss of Power Supply Probability (LPSP) system, which crucial for sustainable electric vehicle charging. analyzes economic, operational, sustainability aspects optimized compares it with HOMER software. results show that NSGA-II is best MOO technique this problem, as has performance robustness. Discounted Cash Flow analysis confirms economic feasibility over its lifetime. technical demonstrates system's ability use renewable energy from solar wind sources, along efficient storage distribution. also conducts sensitivity investigate effects changes in load, irradiance, speed, component costs on performance. findings reveal resilience adaptability under different scenarios, thus enhancing suitability generation showed PVWB/EVCS promising solution reducing reliance non-renewable sources promoting more eco-friendly future.

The increasing penetration of renewable energy sources (RESs) into medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) power systems presents significant challenges in ensuring grid stability sustainability. Advanced conversion technologies are essential to mitigate voltage frequency fluctuations while meeting stringent quality standards. RES-based generation typically employ multistage electronics achieve: (i) maximum point tracking; (ii) galvanic isolation transformation; (iii) high-quality injection the grid.
