Research on livelihood resilience not only helps to understand the adverse impact of COVID-19 farmers' livelihoods, but also formulate concrete actions enhance livelihoods and support economic recovery. Taking rural residents in Jiangsu Province China as an example, this paper uses one-way ANOVA, entropy method obstacle degree models quantitatively analyze characteristics different types farmers main factors. The findings are follows: (1) Both laboring type part-time together accounted for 75.98% survey sample, non-agricultural phenomenon farming households is obvious; There significant differences among farmers, with relatively high capital planting breeding low asset subsidy farmers. (2) from (0.501), (0.493), (0.465), (0.455), (0.400), (0.389). (3) In diagnosis barrier factors resilience, buffer ability disorder most obvious, learning second, self-organization last; Among specific factors, important planting, number productive assets, agricultural technical services channels obtaining information family labor income Therefore, it recommended that policies be improved post-epidemic era terms raising capital, developing knowledge skills learning, enhancing organizational awareness.

ABSTRACT Integrating small‐scale farmers into large markets is crucial for agricultural modernization. To this end, China—as a ‘large country, small farmer’—has fostered socialized services (SASs). Although some studies have examined specific service components of SASs, systematic analysis missing and the mechanisms SAS's effects on farmers' market participation has not been clarified. address gap, we use data from 2020 China Rural Revitalization Survey to construct motivation–opportunity–ability (MOA) framework behavior, uniquely introducing SASs assess their impact participation. This comprehensively examines deep‐market participation, as measured by sales decisions channel selections, respectively, addresses model endogeneity using conditional mixed process Heckman model. The findings reveal that promote augmenting probability 39.6% 14.2%, respectively. The development of rural digitalization has become a key driving force for promoting green agricultural production. However, in practical operations, due to the insufficient digital skills and lack necessary human capital among farmers, they struggle distinguish between production methods traditional practices, which turn reduces their willingness adopt This study employed empirical research collect data from 854 farmers China's largest grain-producing region used Probit model analyze impact on farmers' engage results indicate that an increase can significantly enhance Additionally, it was found online learning towards production, with informal proving more effective. Further analysis revealed social networks play mediating role also explored heterogeneous different groups highlighting increases have pronounced effect small-scale middle-aged Therefore, continuously enhancing capital, emphasizing diverse channels, leveraging 'acquaintance networks' encourage improve awareness through platforms are critical sustainable agriculture developing countries.

Digitization is becoming the key to achieving rural revitalization, and there a complex inter-active relationship with farmer enrichment, agriculture development, making it highly valued by governments around world. Quantitatively evaluating symbiotic between digitization, agricultural reveal driving mechanism behind them, which can provide evidence for government, enterprises, relevant stakeholders. This paper conducts an empirical study of 84 digital village national pilots in China based on coupling coordination model geographically weighted regression, focus spatial characteristics, mechanisms pilots. The development has significant heterogeneity, most state. were complicated, heterogeneity synergy forces different factors, special attention should be paid effects (the nature intensity regression coefficients local regions) policy design implementation. It worth noting that population aging mainly plays negative role, while industrialization, government support, resident capacity positive role. other factors play both roles. Income gap urban residents, aged 65 above, financial self-sufficiency are critical factors. We suggest developing differentiated management policy, accurate integrated basis smart planning, construction China. In view differences digitalization its as shown study, necessary policies according conditions, single taking into account interactive multiple

Abstract The capabilities of farms often limit the possibility using technologically advanced agricultural digital solutions. However, experience many countries shows that several easily accessible solutions can bring results in form optimising production processes. Hence, research aimed to recognise usefulness for systems supporting decision-making operating areas with sizeable agrarian fragmentation and determine barriers their implementation. In order achieve objective, survey questionnaire method was used—389 from Małopolskie Podkarpackie voivodeships (areas most significant scale Poland) were examined. study showed 34% surveyed used at least one technology be classified as a decision-support system. Financial constraints, insufficient equipment, IT knowledge indicated critical use. From perspective farms, functions above considered useful estimating resource consumption, receiving information on occurrence risk plant diseases access an accurate weather forecast individual plots. It is worth noting respondents noticed mentioned remote exchange information.

Abstract The use of modern digital technologies contributes to small-scale dairy farmers enhancing their business processes, increasing productivity, and addressing challenges related sustainability. Small-scale are the ones most left behind in process implementing information technology. Therefore, there is a need implement technology that pays attention beneficial aspects seen from aspect farmers. level application human resource readiness can be measured as basis for formulating strategies This research aims assess factors affect adoption among Indonesia. influence new were identified by literature studies, surveys, data analysis carried out using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling approach, patterns findings this show consist Digital Skill, Supporting, Perceived Ease Use, Usefulness, Attitude Toward Behavioral Intention Use. pattern more complete recording habits, higher farmer Apart that, with moderate incomes embrace technology, possibly driven aspiration advance businesses. Contrastingly, higher-income exhibit less enthusiasm, potentially due contentment current status apprehension towards risks. By offering nuanced these factors, study significantly on agricultural adoption, particularly within context farming. It presents novel understanding barriers enablers advocating personalized contextually relevant support strategies. Furthermore, provides valuable insights policymakers, extension agents, developers designing not only technically viable but also socially culturally acceptable.
