Background
Many
factors
can
influence
circadian
rhythms
in
animals.
For
acoustically
communicating
species,
both
abiotic
cues
(such
as
light
and
temperature)
biotic

cricket

laboratory

assess
whether

introduced
changing
vocal
behavior
of
native
species;
however,
community-level
effects
multiple
remain
unknown.
Hawai‘i,
its
legacy
bird
extinctions
followed
a
surge
human
introductions,
offers
unique
opportunity
study
between
species.
We
predicted
that
communities
higher
percentages
birds
would
exhibit
more
overlap
members

autonomous
