Over the past decades, extensive research has been conducted to identify and characterize various plant transcription factors involved in abiotic stress responses. Therefore, numerous efforts have made improve tolerance by engineering these factor genes. The basic Helix–Loop–Helix (bHLH) family represents one of most prominent gene families contains a bHLH motif that is highly conserved eukaryotic organisms. By binding specific positions promoters, they activate or repress response genes thus affect multiple variables physiology such as stresses, which include drought, climatic variations, mineral deficiencies, excessive salinity, water stress. regulation crucial better control their activity. Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) is a kind of fruit with significant economic, ecological and health values. AP2/ERF transcription factors belong to large group mainly found in plants play key roles plant growth development. However, genes pomegranate their implication development postharvest preservation have been little described. In this study, 116 PgAP2/ERF were identified renamed based on chromosomal distributions. The basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) proteins are a large superfamily of transcription factors, and play central role in wide range metabolic, physiological, developmental processes higher organisms. However, systematic investigation bHLH gene family cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) has not been reported. In the present study, we performed genome-wide survey identified 148 MebHLHs genes were unevenly harbored 18 chromosomes. Through phylogenetic analyses along with Arabidopsis counterparts, these divided into 19 groups, each contains similar structure conserved motifs. Moreover, many cis-acting regulatory elements related to various defense stress responses showed MebHLH genes. Interestingly, transcriptome data unveiled 117 during postharvest physiological deterioration (PPD) process tuberous roots, while 65 significantly change. Meanwhile, relative quantitative analysis 15 demonstrated that they sensitive PPD, suggesting may involve PPD regulation. Cyanogenic glucosides (CGs) biosynthesis was increased, silencing MebHLH72 MebHLH114 linamarin content decreased leaves. Abstract Basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) proteins are transcription factors (TFs) that have been shown to regulate anthocyanin biosynthesis in many plant species. However, the bHLH gene family Populus deltoids has not yet reported. In this study, 185 PdbHLH genes were identified genome and classified into 15 groups based on their sequence similarity phylogenetic relationships. Prunus mume is an illustrious ornamental woody plant with colorful flowers, delicate fragrances, and graceful tree forms. Low temperature limits its geographical distribution. The basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) proteins exist in most eukaryotes as a transcription factor superfamily, which play crucial role metabolism, physiology, development, response to various stresses of higher organisms. However, the characteristics bHLH gene family low-temperature remain unknown P. . In present study, we distinguished 95 PmbHLH genes whole-genome analyzed their features. PmbHLHs were divided into 23 subfamilies one orphan by phylogenetic analysis. Similar structures conserved motifs appeared same subfamily. These situated eight chromosomes scaffolds. Gene duplication events performed close relationship , persica, avium Tandem duplications probably promoted expansion According predicted binding activities, defined Non-DNA-binding DNA-binding proteins. Furthermore, exhibited tissue-specific induced expression patterns. Cinnamomum camphora is one of the most commonly used tree species in landscaping. Improving its ornamental traits, particularly bark and leaf colors, key breeding goals.
