Concerns
about
AI's
vulnerabilities

scientists

sense-making

seek

understand

Abstract
Research

has
started
the
twentieth
century
but
it
was
not
until
2012
that
modern
models
of
neural
networks
aided
machine
learning
process
considerably
so
past
ten
years,
both
computer
vision
as
well
natural
language
processing
have
become
increasingly
better.
AI
developments
accelerated
rapidly,
leaving
open
questions
about
potential
benefits
and
risks
these
dynamics
how
latter
might
be
managed.
This
paper
discusses
three
major
risks,
all
lying
domain
safety
engineering:
problem
alignment,
abuse,
information
control.
The
discussion
goes
through
a
short
history
development,
briefly
touching
on
eventually
