Rotavirus significant pathogen contributing to dehydrating diarrhea hospitalizations five. The aim this study was investigate the role vaccination preventing progression gastroenteritis, with focus on rotavirus-induced gastroenteritis. Material methods: present conducted within Pediatric Department Emergency Clinical Hospital “St. Apostle Andrew” Constanța, including 307 patients diagnosed acute gastroenteritis during period January 1 December 31, 2023. Results: prevalence declined age: 183 infants, 67 were between 3 old, 42 aged 7, smallest group, 15 patients, 7 16 201 did not receive Rotarix or Rotateq vaccines, while 106 completed full regimen. As for etiology disease, 160 viral enterocolitis, 142 attributed Rotavirus. An increase dehydration electrolyte imbalances observed subjects who had received preventive vaccine. Conclusion: vaccine severe that caused by Rotavirus, highlighted reduced frequency imbalances, shorter hospital stays Rotarix/Rotateq

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that frequently diagnosed in female patients, caused by multiple interacting factors. It has a complex pathogenesis which can affect almost any organ, from the kidneys to cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, osteoarticular, and hematological systems. The present narrative review seeks elucidate role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) SLE. central question guiding this study what extent these serum protein modifications correlate with activity organ damage characterized decreased apoptosis increased necrosis T cells NETosis granulocytes. Given impact SLE diagnosis on one's life, aims evaluate intricacies oxidative stress its relevance treatment disease. Topics such as understanding processes stress, their damaging pathways, biomarkers, future assistance clinical decisions will be discussed article. accurate determination biomarkers taught improve both management disease, while antioxidant therapy may open new door for treatment.

Diabetes is a complex condition with rising global incidence, and its impact equally evident in pediatric practice. Regardless of whether we are dealing type 1 or 2 diabetes, the development complications following onset disease inevitable. Consequently, contemporary medicine must concentrate on understanding pathophysiological mechanisms driving systemic decline finding ways to address them. We particularly interested effects oxidative stress target cells organs, such as pancreatic islets, retina, kidneys, neurological cardiovascular systems. Our goal explore, using latest data from international scientific databases, relationship between persistence damage associated diabetes children. Additionally, highlight beneficial roles antioxidants vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, other bioactive molecules; mitigating pathogenic cascade, detailing how they intervene their properties. As result, our study provides comprehensive exploration key aspects stress-antioxidants-pediatric triad, expanding significance various diseases.

Objective: The general objective of the present study is to analyze scientific production on Celiac Disease, seeking identify main clinical manifestations, as well comorbidities and methods used in treatment this pathology. Methodology: It a systematic review focused understanding aspects Disease. research was guided by question: "What are associated diseases management celiac disease pediatric patients, based evidence available literature?". To find answers, searches were performed PubMed database using three descriptors combined with Boolean term "AND". This resulted 268 articles. 17 articles selected compose collection. Results: Disease (CD) an immune-mediated condition that affects gastrointestinal tract can cause several symptoms, including extraintestinal manifestations. Diagnosis involves serological testing biopsies, gluten removal being only effective treatment. Strict adherence gluten-free diet crucial for recovery, but it vary between impacting long-term health. Conclusion: CD other autoimmune genetic conditions, requiring regular monitoring ongoing support ensure well-being patients.

Celiac disease poses a serious diagnostic problem due to significant clinical polymorphism with high frequency of atypical forms. The comorbidity for celiac is relevant the possible involvement almost all organs and systems in pathological process. In this regard, question arises which symptoms are manifestation disease, complications, associated comorbid conditions. obviously damage many disease. They have common starting point - an immunopathological process leading malabsorption secondary metabolic disorders, essentially but not as sometimes interpreted. A complication can be considered oncological consequences develop after prolonged non-compliance gluten-free diet. combination diseases, primarily autoimmune should comorbidity.

This aspect is mainly due to complexity management pediatric practice. main directions his approach therefore bring together concern counteracting noise or systemic, multiple intercurrents at physiopathological level, as well negative imprint exerted on quality life. Its appearance evolution are currently controversial topics, but influence genetic predisposition lifestyle (diet, physical activity, psychological balance) certainties. The objective of study was evaluate the effects early intervention on management health outcomes children diagnosed with celiac disease. A prospective, longitudinal cohort conducted over two years (July 2019-July 2021). customized meal plan any necessary dietary supplements were given participants. Baseline evaluations six-monthly follow-ups used gather data growth, status, compliance. SPSS for statistical analysis, significance threshold p<0.05 established. Significant improvements observed growth metrics, mean height increasing from 145.67 cm 157.48 weight 36.29 kg 46.24 24 months (p < 0.001). Nutritional status also improved, serum iron levels rising 45.19 µg/dL 76.89 vitamin D 20.14 ng/mL 44.22 Dietary increased 84.37% 94.62%. Growth results are greatly improved intervention.
