Metabolic Syndrome, Inflammation, Oxidative Stress, and Vitamin D Levels in Children and Adolescents with Obesity

Metabolic
syndrome
(MetS)
is
associated
with
systemic
inflammation,
oxidative
stress,
and
hypovitaminosis
D.
Our
aim
was
to
determine
whether
vitamin
D
mediates
inflammation
assessed
through
selected
biomarkers,
in
children
obesity
and/or
MetS.
Eighty
normal
weight,
overweight,
or
were
analyzed
for
serum

C-reactive
protein,
leukocytes,
adiponectin,
monocyte
chemoattractant
protein-1,
myeloperoxidase,
interferon-inducible
T-cell

lower

Wheat
is
a
staple
and
nutritious
food
that
consumed
globally.
However,
it
identified
as
major
allergenic
because
of
its
capacity
to
trigger
life-threatening
systemic
anaphylaxis.
The
specific
mechanisms
underlie
this
anaphylaxis
in
wheat
allergy
are
incompletely
understood.
As
result,
several
rodent
models
have
been
developed
study
allergies.
In
paper,
we
conducted
comprehensive
review
wheat-induced
using
Google
Scholar
PubMed
databases
with
relevant
keywords.
following
objectives
were
addressed:
(1)
determine
the
complexity
anaphylaxis;
(2)
summarize
role
genetic
susceptibility
(3)
identify
environmental
factors
involved
development
(4)
map
current
status
(5)
approaches,
strengths,
limitations
(6)
challenges
opportunities
area
science.
Our
findings
provide
updated
critical
resource
for
future
research
agenda
allergy-associated
anaphylaxis,
particularly
attractive
pre-clinical
tools.

Vitamin D insufficiency and sleep disturbances in children with ADHD: a case-control study

Introduction
Attention
deficit
hyperactivity
disorder
(ADHD)
is
a
common
neurodevelopmental
disorders
often
co-occurring
with
sleep
problems
and
other
physical
disorders.
Vitamin
D
regulates

studies
have
looked
at

vitamin
insufficiency

ADHD

scores

significantly
higher
than

which
means
that
overall
