Introduction The present study investigates the effects of mushroom powder (MP) on growth parameters, haematological indices, innate immune response, and serum biochemical indices in beluga ( Huso huso ) juveniles. Methods A total 120 fish (45 ± 0.5 g) were stocked with 10 each 300-L tank. Experimental diets prepared by inclusion 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0% MP. At end feeding trial haemato-immunological parameters as well performance measured. Results results revealed that body weight, specific rate (SGR), length increased significantly fed containing 1% 2% MP P <0.05). Haematological indicated none experimental showed significant red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), hemoglobin (MCH), concentration (MCHC) >0.05). However, haematocrit compared to control White (WBC) was higher than 0% 0.5% Furthermore, treatments caused no change activity complement C 3 >0.05), while 4 Total immunoglobulin had difference when Albumin level Discussion In conclusion, (2%) can be considered improve

Probiotics are helpful bacteria that safeguard host animals from harmful pathogens. In fish farming, the primary aim of using probiotics is to preserve or reestablish a balance between pathogenic microorganisms and native constitute intestinal skin microbial communities fish. This study investigates effects host-associated probiotic (HAP) vs commercial (CP) on growth performance, antioxidant defense immunity Caspian whitefish fry. Three hundred fry (1.15 ± 0.03 g) were randomly divided into five treatments in triplicate. Treatments included feeding with control group (zero), P. acidilactici as at 6 × 10 8 CFU g -1 , HA Pediococcus pentosaceus 7 for eight weeks. Dietary HAP CP did not have significant indices compared ( P > 0.05). However, significantly increased protein carcasses < Different levels had effect whole-body extract (WBE) lysozyme (LZM) activity treatment WBE ACH50 bactericidal Also, case mucosal immune response, different could increase LZM, total immunoglobulin (Ig), agglutination titer, protease alkaline phosphatase Whitefish fed showed parameters (SOD, CAT GPx) autochthonous LAB 0.05); while count heterotrophic was affected Overall, present can be considered beneficial feed additive whitefish.

In this research, Cyprinus carpio juveniles were fed with experimental diets containing different levels of artichoke polyphenolic leaf extract (ALE) 0 (Control), 0.5, 1, and 2 g/kg over eight weeks. After weeks, haemato-immunological parameters, growth performance, immune parameters antioxidant defense measured. The administration varying ALE had no significant effects on compared to the control group. However, haematological significantly elevated Immune such as serum lysozyme, mucus total immunoglobulin, well alternative complement activity bactericidal ALE-treated carps, showed a notable increase in comparison CTRL Also, agglutination titer carps higher than Feeding (0.5, g/kg) enhanced activities enzymes, including superoxide dismutase all groups, catalase 0.5 glutathione peroxidase 1 results study demonstrate that dietary supplementation at 0.5–2 positively influences factors carpio, most pronounced observed g/kg. These findings suggest extract, particularly dosages, has potential an effective feed additive enhance immunity capacity carp farming.

This work evaluated the effects of dietary supplementation with seaweed, Pterocladia capillacea , nanoparticles (SN) on growth, whole-body composition, digestive enzyme activities, feed efficiency, immunological response, antioxidant activity, and gene expression whiteleg shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei . The SN form was conducted using a Planetary Ball Mill PM 400. particle size verified through Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) analysis. DLS showed that mean sizes were between 151 nm (13.6%) 835 (64%). Throughout 60 day experimental trial, postlarvae (PLs) L. subjected to one following five feeding groups. first group is commercially available shrimp as basal diet without any seaweed supplementation, functioning negative control (C 0% ). A second received commercial supplemented 2% (20 g/kg) dried powder (SP ), positive control. remaining three groups fed diets at concentrations 0.5% (SN 1% respectively. 750 postlarval (0.053 g/PL) allocated Each consisted 150 PLs (triplicate). their corresponding regime times 10% body weight. results revealed that, compared those ) or controls, increasing levels SN, especially growth (FW, WG, SGR), enzymes (amylase lipase activities), carcass composition (protein lipid contents), nutrient efficiency (FI, PI, FER, FCR, PER), activities (SOD CAT), innate immunity (LYS MDA), related-immunity expressions ( p53 significantly improved. In conclusion, these findings concluded applying nanotechnology tools enhances additives maximizes health, overall production. Further research required understand explain how affect shrimp’s physiological state upgrade some immune-related expressions.

An 8-week feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary fucoidan levels (0 mg/kg, 500 1,000 1,500 and 2,000 mg/kg) on hepatic ultrastructure transcriptomic landscape within liver tissue common carp. The results revealed that addition mg/kg diet significantly altered hepatocytes. Notably, quantities lipid droplets, autolysosomes, enlarged mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum were increased in transcriptome analysis DEGs notably abundant 1,000-mg/kg group glucolipid metabolism signaling pathways, including eukaryotes nicotinate nicotinamide metabolism, steroid biosynthesis, PPAR pathways. quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) showed an excellent agreement those RNA-seq for both up- down-regulated genes (a total 13 selected validation). Furthermore, influenced carp at mRNA level. inclusion lower concentrations diet, specifically found enhance expression involved glycolysis, hk, gk, pk, as well linked lipogenesis, such srebf1, fasn, elovl5, acsl3a, scd, fads2, cyp24a1. Conversely, higher fucoidan, observed markedly upregulate associated with gluconeogenesis, pck1, pck2, gs, gsk3a, gsk3b, g6pca.1, along related lipolysis, hadhb, acadl, ecil, acacba, cpt1, fabp1, fabp3. In summary, varying intake appear exert differential influences carp, suggesting a complex dose-dependent regulatory mechanism. For first time, this research has established possesses pronounced influence fish. This discovery not only underscores its potential immunostimulant but also opens new avenues application feed additive, implications modulating nutritional aquatic species.
