Estimated prevalence, incidence and healthcare costs of Sjögren’s syndrome in France: a national claims-based study

Objectives To estimate prevalence, incidence and mortality rates, annual healthcare costs of primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) SS associated with other autoimmune disorders (SS+AID) in France. Methods French national claims-based study within the prospective Système National des Données de Santé database that includes majority population. An algorithm was developed to identify patients SS-related claims were analysed between 2011 2018. Results Overall, 23 848 pSS 14 809 SS+AID identified. From 2018, prevalence rate increased slightly for (23–32 per 100000) (16–20 100 000), females comprising 90%–91% 92%–93% cases, respectively. Raman spectroscopy combined with a support vector machine algorithm as a diagnostic technique for primary Sjögren’s syndrome

Abstract The aim of this study was to explore the feasibility Raman spectroscopy combined with computer algorithms in diagnosis primary Sjögren syndrome (pSS). After PCA dimension reduction, specificity, sensitivity accuracy PSO-SVM obtained, results 88.89%, 100% 94.44%, respectively. Therapeutic Targets in the Management of Dry Eye Disease Associated with Sjögren’s Syndrome: An Updated Review of Current Insights and Future Perspectives

The mental health impact of primary Sjögren Syndrome among Italian women

This cross-sectional online survey aims to investigate the impact of Primary Sjögren's Syndrome (pSS) on mental health by measuring anxiety, depressive symptoms and health-related quality life (HR-QoL) in Italian context. Participants diagnosed with pSS were recruited via National Association Patients (A.N.I.Ma.S.S.), composed members across Italy, completed an using LimeSurvey platform. Data collected encompassed demographic, clinical information (e.g., age, gender, disease duration), diagnostic details (suspecting diagnosing specialists), assessments (HADS for anxiety symptoms, SF-36 HR-QoL). Descriptive analyses conducted, including frequencies binary variables, mean standard deviations interval-level alongside correlation between scales. The study included 216 women who (average age: 54 years).
