This study examined the correlation between circulating receptor activator for nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) levels and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), investigated association polymorphisms in RANKL gene susceptibility to RA. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a long-term systemic autoimmune disorder that causes joint inflammation, swelling, pain, bone erosion, and deformities. Recent findings emphasize the anti-inflammatory antioxidant properties of bioactive natural compounds, such as polyphenols extracted from plants fruits, their possible synergistic effect when used in combination with current therapies to improve prognosis symptoms inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Here, we report Sicilian extra virgin olive oil polyphenol-enriched extracts (PE-EVOOs) reduce intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) pro-inflammatory cytokines, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) interleukin-1 β (IL-1β), peripheral mononuclear cells (PBMCs) obtained both RA patients healthy subjects (HSs) treated lipopolysaccharides (LPS) control. HPLC-ESI-MS analysis highlighted PE-EVOOs are rich different polyphenolic compounds responsible for many observed biological effects. At molecular levels, Western blotting analyses revealed PE-EVOO treatment associated downregulation phosphorylated active form transcription factor NF-κB enzyme cyclooxygenase 2 (COX2). In addition, upregulated Nrf2 its target catalase manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD). Collectively, these results suggest use potential adjuvants RA.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease that marked by inflammatory response. PNPLA2 (phospholipase patatin-like) which encodes ATGL (adipose triglyceride lipase) also been identified as playing in inflammation. G0S2 (G0/G1) switch gene has one of the selective inhibitors ATGL. and may be factors can help predict relationship between molecules affecting inflammation, well identify pathways through genes involved metabolic pathway. In present study, we analyzed expression levels their protein concentrations real-time PCR immunoassay, respectively on 60 peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) are included into 3 different groups new case patients with RA, chronic control individuals. Also, to obtain more accurate information results, synovial fluid, triglyceride, cholesterol, ESR were analyzed. Statistical analysis was then performed software SPSS-18. level significantly increased newly diagnosed RA compared group. serum reduced The elevated other groups, but interestingly this increase PBMCs not significant. This predicted only regulated gene, regulatory affect immune cells.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), an autoimmune disease, is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting the joints leading to severe damage and cartilage destruction. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a global epidemic. We conducted cross-sectional study using the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2021 dataset to examine RA trends in patients aged 20-54 years worldwide. Key outcomes included incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life (DALYs), as well over time, stratifying by region, country, age, sex, Sociodemographic Index (SDI). also assessed contribution smoking RA-related mortality DALYs. Over past 32 years, incidence rate increased from 11.66 (95% UI 9.60-13.94) 13.48 11.08-16.06) per 100,000 population. DALYs 26.37 18.43-36.99) 30.71 20.82-44.08) population, with females bearing higher burden.
