The aim of this paper is to provide pharmacy educators with an understanding threshold concepts as a framework that can help understand, and support the internal work involved in professional identity formation (PIF). Threshold are transformative troublesome critical transition from trainee practitioner. Abstract Background Medical students' professional identity formation (PIF) starts early in their academic journey and is shaped by diverse social influences. Research shows that while participation student organizations cultivates essential skills, it may also reinforce homogeneity prevent cultural change. However, the impact of on PIF remains under‐researched. This study aimed to investigate how a particular organization impacted novice students. Methods We conducted qualitative utilizing constructivist grounded theory rich pictures methodology. interviewed 12 novices, six senior students, three alumni seven teachers from medical school Indonesia. The interviews with students were facilitated Rich Pictures. transcripts iteratively analysed. Despite the Supreme Court’s decision on race-based admissions, academic medical centers, societies, and accreditation bodies remain committed to recruiting a diverse workforce. Many schools graduate education programs created initiatives expand their census of underrepresented in medicine (UIM) as key addressing health care disparities. As result, an influx UIM physician workforce has entered clinical learning environments, often without consideration inclusivity these settings. To create inclusive, safe, comfortable CLEs, we must first recognize challenges faced by trainees, students, faculty complex ways which discrimination manifests. Ultimately, having inclusive CLEs allows all learners, especially those from historically excluded identities, thrive training working environment, making it essential retain necessary. Using case examples, discuss strategies can maintain environments where learners feel safe supported through training.
