To optimize the utilization of fermented maize stover (FMS) feed during fattening phase Xianghai flying geese (XFG), a total 300 XFG at 125 days age were randomly assigned to four dietary treatment groups with three replicates 25 in each set. Group A was fed basal diet, while B, C, and D basic diet diets supplemented 5%, 10% or 15% FMS, respectively. The findings indicate that production performance indicators (especially dressed, eviscerated breast muscle yield) closely resembled more than Groups B C. Intestinal morphometry found jejunal villus height height/crypt depth significantly increased compared A. Next, 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing extracted DNA revealed beneficial microbiota (Coprococcus Victivallis) showed abundance D. Cecal flora function analysis further some amino acid glycerol biosynthesis be associated growth geese. These suggest incorporating FMS as substitute for portion can effectively sustain their performance, gut microbial community morphometrical traits, provide new insight into using non-conventional resources reduce cost improve economic benefits breeding industry.

Abstract Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a significant global health challenge, necessitating advanced predictive models to support clinical decision-making. In this study, we explore multi-label classification as novel approach predict antibiotic across four clinically relevant bacteria: E. coli , S. aureus K. pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa . Using multiple datasets from the DRIAMS repository, evaluated performance of algorithms – Multi-Layer Perceptron, Support Vector Classifier, Random Forest, Extreme Gradient Boosting under both single-label frameworks. Our results demonstrate that delivers competitive compared traditional models, with no statistically differences in most cases. The framework naturally captures complex, interconnected nature AMR data, reflecting real-world scenarios more accurately. We further validated on external (DRIAMS B C), confirming their generalizability robustness. Additionally, investigated impact oversampling techniques provided reproducible methodology for handling MALDI-TOF ensuring scalability future studies. These findings underscore potential enhance accuracy research, offering valuable insights developing diagnostic tools guiding interventions.

Abstract Prescribed burning is commonly used to maintain forest ecosystem functions and reduce the risk of future wildfires. Although many studies have investigated response microbial community wildfires in ecosystems, effects prescribed burnings on soil structure are less studied. It also unclear that how post-fire physiochemical properties changes affected communities. Here, we studied impacts microbiome three typical temperate forests northern China by collecting physicochemical high-throughput sequencing for 16S rRNA 18S was applied analyze diversity composition microbes (bacteria fungi).
