The gut microbial importance and its crucial roles in host digestion, immunity, metabolism have received widely attention. Horses, especially indigenous varieties such as Mongolian horses (MGH) Guizhou (GZH), not sufficient attention, the characteristics of their microbiota are still unclear. For this purpose, we collected faecal samples from eight MGH GZH to compare differences using amplicon sequencing. results alpha diversity analysis indicated that bacterial fungal abundance were significantly higher than those MGH.
