Neurologic disorders such as traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and drug-resistant epilepsy have a high socioeconomic impact around the world. Current therapies for these are often not effective. This creates demand development of new therapeutic approaches to treat disorders. Recent data suggest that autoreactive naturally occurring immunoglobulins produced by subsets B cells, called B1 combined with complement, actively involved in processes restoration neuronal functions during pathological conditions remyelination. The focus this review is discuss possibility creating specific antibodies can activate fix complement enhance survival promote central nervous system repair after injuries associated many types neurodegenerative diseases.

Abstract Multiple sclerosis (MS) is defined as an inflammatory disorder that chronically affects the central nervous system of young people mostly and distributed globally. It associated with degeneration demyelination myelin sheath around nerves, resulting in multiple neurological disability symptoms ranging from mild to severe cases end paralysis sometimes. MS one rising diseases globally unfortunately reduced quality life adding national economic burdens. The definite mechanism not clearly defined; however, all previous researches confirm role immune master contributor pathogenesis. Innate adaptive cells are activated peripherally then attracted toward (CNS) due breakdown blood–brain barrier. Recently, gut-brain axis was shown depend on gut metabolites produced by different microorganisms colon. difference microbiota composition between individuals responsible for diversity secreted affect responses locally or systemically when reach blood circulation brain. may enhance suppress (repeated short forms); consequently, it exacerbate ameliorate symptoms. Recent data showed some can be used adjuvant therapy other diseases. This review sheds light nature possible interaction regulation through axis, hence contributing

There is significant communication and interdependence among the gut, microbiome, brain during development. Diseases, such as necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), highlight how injury to immature gastrointestinal tract leads long-term neurological consequences, due vulnerabilities of in early stages life. A better understanding developing gut–microbiota–brain axis needed both prevent treat devastating consequences these disease processes. The a bidirectional pathway that includes metabolic, nervous, endocrine, immune components. In this review, we discuss gut development, microbiome colonization maturation, interactions influence neurodevelopment context NEC. We describe components gut–brain an integral member relationship. Finally, explore derangements within affect normal development function other systems neurodevelopmental for patients.
