: Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds promise for transforming healthcare, with AI models gaining increasing clinical use in surgery. However, new are developed without established standards their validation and use. Before can be widely adopted, it is crucial to ensure these both accurate safe patients. Without proper validation, there a risk of integrating into practice sufficient evidence safety accuracy, potentially leading suboptimal patient outcomes. In this work, we review the current methods surgical settings propose novel classification system.

Abstract Background Awake surgery has become a crucial approach in glioma treatment, primarily aimed at maximizing tumor resection while preserving neurological functions. While its application to the dominant hemisphere been well established, use non‐dominant remains underexplored. The plays essential roles visuospatial processing, social cognition, and executive functions, which can significantly impact patient's quality of life. Despite increasing evidence these standardized protocols for intraoperative brain mapping (ioBM) are lacking. Methods A systematic search PubMed database was conducted identify studies published between 2015 2024 that examined cognitive outcomes ioBM paradigms awake right gliomas. review included assessed neuropsychological outcomes, characteristics, extent surgical resection. Exclusion criteria case reports, reviews, focused exclusively on total 13 met inclusion criteria. Results identified key functions during surgery, including speech/motor language, working memory, sensorimotor Intraoperative assessment used cortical subcortical stimulation, with variety tests applied different domains. Studies reported direct electrical stimulation (DES) revealed functional attention, Patients who underwent demonstrated better long‐term extended compared those under general anesthesia. However, variability tools inconsistent reporting postoperative were noted. Conclusion combined appears be viable optimizing hemisphere. lack significant challenge. Future research should focus establishing unified set assessment, conducting longitudinal recovery, integrating advanced neuroimaging techniques refine mapping. Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive and common primary brain malignancy in adults, characterized by poor prognosis treatment resistance. Despite advancements options, median survival roughly 15 months, underlining need for novel effective treatments. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology healthcare, offering outstanding capabilities data analysis, pattern recognition, helping decision-making. This review explores current potential role of AI GBM care, focusing on its applications diagnosis, planning, prognostication, drug discovery. AI-based algorithms have demonstrated promising enhancing diagnostics through imaging radiomics, tumor segmentation. These technologies could enable non-invasive molecular profiling early detection GBM. In improve approaches optimizing surgical resection, radiotherapy regimen, chemotherapy protocols. Furthermore, machine learning models can integrate multimodal to develop personalized They also enhance prognostication predicting survival, recurrence, responses, clinicians make more informed decisions. revolutionizing pharmacotherapy identifying targets combination therapies. notable progress, challenges persist. Limited quality quantity, algorithm interpretability, integration problems, ethical considerations, remain significant clinical implementation. emphasizes continued research interdisciplinary collaboration overcome many barriers realize care.
