Increasingly, smartphones have become a part of people's everyday lives, and are now considered by many to be an indispensable social accessory. Social media addiction (SMA) has become a global phenomenon, affecting individuals worldwide. It adverse effects not only on those who are addicted but also related to them. This study examines the relationship between Dark Tetrad traits (narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism) SMA in Türkiye, typical collectivist society. The global population has been significantly affected by the pandemic in terms of physical and mental health. According to transactional theory, individuals have undergone an adaptation process influenced cognitive control abilities. Addiction-related attentional biases may play a central role in the development and maintenance of drug-seeking drug-taking behaviors. However, evidence cocaine dependence is limited mixed. Objective Internet addiction and depressive symptoms are common mental health problems in adolescents. Due to the comorbidity of symptoms, their mutual relationship influences developmental trajectories over time.
