Abstract Oxidative stress is widely involved in the pathological process of ischemic stroke and ischemia-reperfusion. Several research have demonstrated that eliminating or reducing oxidative can alleviate changes stroke. However, current clinical antioxidant treatment did not always perform as expected. This bibliometric aims to identify trends, topics, hotspots evolution on field stroke, find potentially strategies future treatment. Abstract Background In recent years, there has been a noteworthy increase in research exploring the relationship between gut microbiota and bariatric surgery. This can be attributed to growing recognition of importance diverse health issues, such as obesity, its alterations following Consequently, this study seeks employ bibliometric analysis show current landscape identify key areas focus for future investigations on link surgery microbiota. Methods We conducted comprehensive search Scopus database gather literature concerning impact The encompassed documents published 2009 2023. To analyze data, we employed metrics, including publication count, citation evaluation performance countries, institutions, journals. Additionally, utilized VOSviewer visually present findings. Results A total 555 articles focused correlation Original constituted 55.32% all publications topic, followed by reviews at 37.30%. leading countries terms volume were USA ( n = 156; 28.11%), China 73; 13.15%), UK 52; 9.37%). Co-occurrence highlighted three main clusters topics: (1) composition relation obesity remission, (2) glucose metabolism, circulating bile acids, hormones, microbiome remodeling, (3) connections insulin resistance. Conclusions Ongoing investigated connection microbiota, providing new perspectives metabolic improvements after Further studies are necessary comprehensively grasp how procedures influence formulate precise interventions aimed optimizing advantages
