: The most significant viral contributors to acute respiratory tract infections in children are Respiratory Syncytial Viruses (RSV) and influenza virus, causing substantial seasonal annually. Furthermore, severe neurological complications, notably seizures encephalopathy, can be attributed these viruses. Children with chronic or pre-existing conditions particularly susceptible increased morbidity sequelae. An active area of research date is focused on the potential mechanisms invasion, which could relevant for future therapeutic strategies. Influenza virus frequently an important cause epidemic pandemic disease high costs hospitalization primary care. different subtypes viruses induce various influenza-associated varying from mild (i.e. headache) meningoencephalitis necrotizing encephalopathy), both adults children. While affecting tract, RSV also give rise manifestations, potentially resulting long-term impairment. Neurological changes associated encompass seizures, lethargy, ataxia, febrile epileptic states, central apnea, difficulties feeding swallowing, tone abnormalities, strabismus, abnormalities cerebrospinal fluid, encephalopathy. Patients infected develop neuromotor present learning In conclusion, result extrapulmonary symptoms, leading enduring health consequences affected Substantial efforts necessary prevent treat infections, within vulnerable populations.

The respiratory system is constantly exposed to viral infections that are responsible for mild severe diseases. In this narrative review, we focalized the attention on syncytial virus (RSV), influenza virus, and acute syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infections, high morbidity mortality in last decades. We reviewed human innate adaptive immune responses airways following infection, focusing a particular population: newborns pregnant women. recent Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has highlighted how our interest pathologies must not decrease. Furthermore, increase knowledge of infection mechanisms improve future defense strategies.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition with multifactorial origins, including the potential involvement of neurotrophins and growth factors. These molecules, which are crucial for neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, brain development, have been implicated in ASD pathophysiology. Altered levels such as NGF, BDNF, NT3, NT4, well factors like IGF1, VEGF, FGF, associated cognitive deficits, sensory processing abnormalities, behavioral issues patients. However, literature presents conflicting results, often due to differences research methodologies, sample sizes, patient populations, diagnostic criteria. Despite these inconsistencies, biomarkers therapeutic targets remains promising. Future standardized larger cohorts, clearer understanding genetic influences needed further elucidate their roles diagnosis treatment.
