In

editorial,
we
provide
commentary
on
six
articles
recently
published
in
the
World
Journal
of
Gastrointestinal
Oncology
.
These
collectively
present
latest
findings
field
gastric
and
colorectal
cancer
(CRC)
research.
The
global
incidence
varies
based
geographical
location,
age,
sex.

predominantly
affects
middle-aged
elderly
individuals,
with
a
slightly
higher
prevalence
men
than
women.
CRC
is
characterized
by
low
5-year
survival
rate
high
mortality
rate.

Abstract
The
identification
of
acute
cardioprotective
strategies
against
myocardial
ischemia/reperfusion
(I/R)
injury
that
can
be
applied
in
the
catheterization
room
is
currently
an
unmet
clinical
need
and
several
interventions
evaluated
past
at
pre-clinical
level
have
failed
translation.
Autonomic
