Copper functions as a cofactor and antioxidants in large number of enzymes that are important for cellular respiration the nervous system. In last century scholars have explored copper’s relationship with immune system, copper deficiency drastically upsetting overall function seen symptoms such increased susceptibility to pathogens, decreased proliferation lymphocytes, impaired both cytotoxic T lymphocytes helper cells. Among various forms, bis-glycinate (Cbg) has been used an official EU-approved oral supplement promote health. this study, we observed influence Cbg on human epithelial cells (HCE-T cells) determine its cytotoxicity, anti-reactive oxygen (ROS), wound healing capabilities. We also evaluated Cbg’s anti-inflammatory like primary mononuclear (PBMCs), monocytic THP-1, Jurkat context anti-inflammation. At all investigated concentrations (0.05–100 μg/mL), ther was no considerable impact detected However, rate stimulated PBMCs affected progressively (3–50 μg/mL). CD4+ cells, interleukin (IL)-17 IL-2 cytokine levels were dose-dependent manner, while interferon (IFN)-γ slightly noticeable changes between each treated concentration. Furthermore, THP-1 reduced IL-6 significantly tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α cytokines secretion. Lastly, intracellular Ca2+ influx inhibited manner. Taken together, study demonstrated possesses modulatory effects but not further studies needed underline hypothesis.
