This study conducted a literature review by searching for articles related to the treatment of skin infections/wrinkles using nano-delivery systems containing natural compounds. The search was in various databases published last 10 years, with strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of 490 found, 40 were considered relevant. Acne vulgaris is common dermatological disorder characterised inflammation sebaceous glands, often resulting development pimples, cysts, scarring. Conventional treatments, including antibiotics topical retinoids, frequently demonstrate limitations such as side effects, resistance, insufficient absorption. Recent advancements nanotechnology have enabled creation innovative drug-delivery that enhance effectiveness reduce adverse effects anti-acne medications. Polyphenols flavonoids, bioactive compounds notable anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial properties, are recognised their therapeutic acne treatment. However, practical application hindered solubility, stability, bioavailability. incorporation these into nanoparticle-based delivery has shown promise resolving challenges. Various nanoparticle platforms, lipid-based nanoparticles, polymeric solid lipid evaluated ability improve controlled release, targeted polyphenols flavonoids skin. advent polyphenol flavonoid-loaded nanoparticles marks new therapy era.

Haskap (Lonicera caerulea) berry is rich in anthocyanins, particularly cyanidin-3-O-glucoside (C3G). In this investigation, a response surface methodology was applied to optimize the anhydrous ethanol-based extraction parameters obtain maximum yield of anthocyanins from haskap and compare recovery different methods. The central composite design employed study effect three independent variables (XA = ultrasonic bath power, XB temperature, XC time) which were found significantly affect variable total anthocyanin content (TAC) fit second-order polynomial model. optimum process XA 536 W, 62.3 °C, 63.5 min provided predicted TAC 16.5 mg C3G equivalence (C3GE)/g dry weight (DW), experimentally validated with 16.1 C3GE/g DW. optimized ultrasonication-assisted using ethanol also effective recovering quercetin glycosides, catechin, procyanidin B2, iridoids, as determined by ultra-pressure liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Though highest (17.6 DW) when deep eutectic solvent consisting citric acid D-(+)-maltose used, system has limitations preparing dehydrated extracts for industrial applications. This concludes that other phytochemicals berries can be performed food-grade ethanol.

Antibiotics are effective in treating bacterial infections, but their widespread use has spurred antibiotic resistance, which is linked closely with human disease. While dietary components known to influence the gut microbiome, specific effects on resistome-the collection of antibiotic-resistant genes gut-remain underexplored. This review outlines mechanisms action and development emphasizing connection between resistome diseases such as metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, liver nervous system disorders. It also discusses diet habits components, including bioactive macronutrients, phytochemicals, probiotics, composition by enhancing efficacy potentially reducing resistance. highlights emerging trend increasing interest functional foods aimed at targeting a growing focus plant compounds potential modulate

The gut microbiome supports both and overall health. Diet is known to be one of the driving factors that influences microbiome. foods we eat, dietary nondietary components they contain, various food consumption patterns, ratio nutrients consumed have been shown impact composition function. Studies indicate many acute chronic diseases are associated with alterations There patients who rely on enteral tube feeding for their nutrition support. More recently, formulations "real food" become commercially available. However, little about how impacts in requiring this specialized form therapy. This review summarizes existing evidence regarding sources commonly macronutrients Also presented what "standard" real Existing suggestive positively Still, more research needed ready-to-feed formulations, particularly clinical conditions, modulation outcomes.

Advanced techniques can accelerate the pace of natural product discovery from microbes, which has been lagging behind drug era. Therefore, present review article discusses various interdisciplinary and cutting-edge to a concrete strategy that enables high-throughput screening novel compounds (NCs) known microbes. Recent bioinformatics methods revealed microbial genome contains huge untapped reservoir silent biosynthetic gene clusters (BGC). This describes several identify strains with hidden mines BGCs. Moreover, antiSMASH 5.0 is free, accurate, highly reliable tool discussed in detail BGCs genome. Further, latest culture technique, HiTES (high-throughput elicitor screening), detailed for expression using 500-1000 different growth conditions at time. Following BGCs, mass spectrometry are highlighted NCs. The recently emerged LAESI-IMS (laser ablation electrospray ionization-imaging spectrometry) rapid identification NCs directly microtiter plates, presented detail. Finally, trending 'dereplication' strategies emphasized increase effectiveness NC screening.
