This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of camellia oil on 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB)-induced atopic dermatitis (AD) in mice, as well its effect expression skin-barrier-related proteins. A mouse model AD was created via topical application DNCB; subsequently, animals were randomly divided into four groups: blank control (Control), (Model), moisturizing cream (Moisturizer), and (Camellia) groups. The Camellia group received oil, whereas Moisturizer treated with cream, a positive control. Skin lesions, ear back tissue morphology, serum levels IgE, IL-4, IFN-γ analyzed. Compared Control group, mice exhibited erythema, papules, dryness, peeling, significantly higher IgE IL-4 levels. Model treatment considerably reduced skin inflammation, thickness, scratching frequency. histopathological analysis revealed that inflammatory-cell infiltration edema AD-affected skin. Furthermore, upregulated filaggrin (FLG), thus aiding skin-barrier repair. These findings suggest improves symptoms, enhances FLG expression, restores damaged barrier models.

This study systematically investigates the effects of different drying methods-Hot Air Drying (HAD), Microwave (MWD), and Ultrasound-Microwave Combined (UMWD)-on kinetics, total phenolic content (TPC), antioxidant activity, metabolome Camellia oils (COs). UMWD significantly reduced time increased TPC by 102.20 % 395.94 compared to MWD HAD, respectively. The capacity, as measured FRAP, DPPH, ABTS assays, was enhanced 8.51, 11.35, 37.68 µg VC/mL under conditions, showing marked improvements over HAD. Metabolomic analysis identified 1,350 metabolites, with 447 differential metabolites specific UMWD. A 47 antioxidant-related (ACCMs) were identified, most which exhibited up a 10-fold increase in UMWD/HAD comparisons. These findings demonstrate that effectively enhances both bioactive components capacity COs, making significant contribution preparation high-quality camellia oil. Additionally, offers new insights into how ultrasound-assisted methods can enhance food products.
