Abstract Assessing unmet needs is crucial to achieving quality care and patient satisfaction. Between September December 2021, we assessed supportive in a consecutive sample of adult survivors childhood cancer at KHCC. Two hundred ninety-seven completed the study questionnaire. Overall score across all domains was (24.80$\pm$19.65), with financial domain scoring highest (30.39$\pm$31.95) sexuality lowest (7.67$\pm$19.67). Using multivariate linear regression model, female gender independently associated significantly high scores need (p$<$0.001), except for sexuality. Monthly income, comorbidities, socioeconomic challenges, time since diagnosis, age diagnosis have emerged as predictors many domains. Mean life (QoL) inversely mean multiple domains: psychological (p=0.038), overall (p=0.004). Following thematic analysis qualitative data, educational difficulties work-related challenges were identified other needs. Cancer experiences during influence adulthood. There more tailored studies assessing different populations avoiding “one size fits all” model when it comes survivorship care.

Abstract Background Breast cancer is the most common type of in women worldwide. Though improved treatments and prolonged overall survival, breast survivors (BCSs) persistently suffer from various unmet supportive care needs (USCNs) throughout disease. This scoping review aims to synthesize current literature regarding USCNs among BCSs. Methods study followed a framework. Articles were retrieved Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase, Web Science, Medline inception through June 2023, as well reference lists relevant literature. Peer-reviewed journal articles included if BCSs reported. Inclusion/exclusion criteria adopted screen articles’ titles abstracts entirely assess any potentially pertinent records by two independent researchers. Methodological quality was independently appraised following Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal tools. Content analytic approach meta-analysis performed for qualitative quantitative studies respectively. Results reported according PRISMA extension reviews. A total 10,574 77 finally. The risk bias low moderate. self-made questionnaire used instrument, Short-form Supportive Care Needs Survey (SCNS-SF34). 16 domains finally identified. Social support (74%), daily activity (54%), sexual/intimacy (52%), fear recurrence/ spreading (50%), information (45%) top needs. Information psychological/emotional appeared frequently. found be significantly associated with demographic factors, disease psychological factors. Conclusion are experiencing large number fearing recurrence, activity, sexual/intimacy, psychology information, proportions ranging 45% 74%. Abstract Background Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have become a central part of cancer care. However, the survivorship outcomes in patients treated with ICIs are understudied. Therefore, we conducted scoping review to evaluate current status field and establish research gaps regarding real-life cohorts. Methods We used Web Science, PubMed, Embase databases systematically filter published studies cohorts from January 1, 2010, until October 19, 2022. Studies evaluating at least one outcome ICI-treated were included. Results A total 39 papers Quality life (QoL) ( n = 23), toxicity burden 16), psychosocial issues 9) most frequently evaluated outcomes. Anti-PD-1/PD-L1 monotherapy response treatment associated better QoL. In addition, grade 3 or higher immune-related adverse events (irAEs) 10–15% late/long-term irAEs 20–30% survivors. Regarding problems, over 30% survivors showed evidence anxiety depression, 30–40% reported neurocognitive impairments. Conclusion The impairments domains. Further is needed gather data on understudied like late long-term effects, fertility, financial toxicity, return work ICIs. Implications for Cancer Survivors Available demonstrates that significant portion burden, lower QoL than general population, high rate problems.

Abstract Background This study aimed to examine the factors associated with unmet supportive care needs (SCNs) and determine correlation between SCNs quality of life (QoL) among cancer patients. Methods cross-sectional included 137 patients who were recruited via convenience sampling from an oncology department at a tertiary hospital in China. Three assessment instruments employed herein: general information questionnaire, Chinese version Supportive Care Needs Survey short form (SCNS-SF34-C), functional subscale European Organization for Research Treatment Cancer Quality Life Questionnaire-Core 30 (EORTC QLQ-C30). Results Among five domains SCNS-SF34-C, health system domain had highest mean score (M = 2.74; SD 0.75), followed by psychological 2.36; 0.85). Five found be patients: gender, educational background, disease awareness, smoking status, drinking habits (all p < 0.05). Moreover, participants psychological, physical daily living showed significantly lower QoL all symptom Conclusions have notable needs. Future studies should design individualized interventions improve enhance their QoL.
