Abstract The incidence of breast cancer has gradually increased late due to many etiological factors. Conventional treatment strategies suffer from a lack solubility, low bioavailability at the target site, specificity, and indiscriminate drug distribution which leads resistance. present study aimed deliver capsaicin into cells through folic acid-conjugated capsaicin-loaded carboxylic acid-functionalised multi-walled carbon nanotubes (FA-CAP-COOHMWCNTs). FA-CAP-COOHMWCNTs was formulated characterized by FTIR, SEM, TEM, XRD, zeta potential, particle size analyser. In silico studies demonstrated that active molecule, can strongly bind onto C-SRC kinase receptor suppress progression. in-vitro cellular viability MCF-7 after 24 h with 100 µg × mL-1 found be 29.27±2.59%and IC50 value observed 22.71 mL-1. Subsequently, in vivo anticancer activity performed against 7,12-dimethylbenz(a) anthracene (DMBA)-induced in female Wistar rats. After 21 days FA-CAP-COOHMWCNTs, cancer-induced rats showed significant reduction mammary tumor size, along elevated levels antioxidant detoxifying enzymes serum/breast tissue. medium dose (5 mg kg-1 b.w) maximum properties almost equivalent standard drug, Doxorubicin. Histopathological also near-normal architecture Altogether, it interpreted have antiproliferative efficacy progression

Abstract: Cancer, notably breast cancer, is a significant health concern globally, with substantial burden in Asia, particularly Pakistan. Late diagnosis exacerbates mortality rates, emphasizing the importance of robust screening programs. This article examines effectiveness cancer initiatives and intervention four years after initial pilot study that spanned 2015-2019, using data from Islamabad Federal Breast Screening Centre, to assess readiness for national guideline implementation Pakistan beyond. Methods: retrospective cross-sectional study, conducted at Center (FBSC), involved 5,580 patients undergoing mammography over an four-year period 2015 2023. The examined patients' data, including Imaging Reporting Data System (BIRADS) categories through double reading complementary ultrasound (USG) findings. Demographic information, age, ethnicity, education status, socio-economic factors, breastfeeding history, density, family was recorded analyze its correlation subsequent management. analysis performed SPSS 2021. Results: included total 4337 who visited Centre 2020 mean age attending screenings 2023 48.50 ± 9.55 years, most common group being 41-45 1,364 (24.4%), followed by 46-50 1,008 (18.1%). ethnicity highest frequency Punjabi 4,647 (83.3%). distribution across BI-RADS as follows: 0 (n=175, 3.10%), I (n=1,933, 34.60%), II (n=1,691, 30.30%), III (n=642, 11.50%), IV (n=612, 11.00%), V (n=389, 7.00%), VI (n=138, 2.50%). prevalence rate invasive during these 10.4%. Conclusion:In conclusion, poses escalating challenge associated increasing rates. Pakistan, alongside South Asian counterparts, witnessing surge cases, urgency comprehensive interventions. Research endeavors such this provide valuable insights into demographic profiles, aiding formulation tailored guidelines. Moreover, establishment additional federal centers imperative enhance patient access mitigate issue delayed diagnoses, aligning Pakistan's healthcare infrastructure developed nations.

African American (AA) women confront distinct disparities in breast cancer rates, and the impact of their living environment is unclear. This study aimed to examine association between incidence environmental factors among a high-risk female population. The recruited 355 AA ages 20-88 Memphis from 2016-2018. Their addresses were geocoded linked socioeconomic data. final dataset contained 50 cases 157 controls. Associations social examined using logistic regression. Spatial analysis ArcGIS showed that clustered Southwest Memphis. Proximity traffic Superfund sites had odds ratios 1.636 (95% CI: 25 1.046, 2.560) 12.262 1.814, 82.864), respectively. Mediating analyses further revealed inequities contributed significantly inequalities. In conclusion, built plays role onset females.
