Abstract Background To assess the knowledge levels of postgraduate students in departments oral and maxillofacial radiology (OMFR) surgery (OS) regarding diagnostic adjuncts for mucosal lesions. Methods Postgraduate enrolled OMFR OS programs across dental faculties nationwide between 2019 2021 were included. A total 434 participants selected based on specific criteria. 40-question questionnaire with items formulated by specialists at least 15 years experience covered basic information, principles/mechanisms, application techniques, result interpretation. The survey was distributed online, responses collected anonymously. Statistical analysis performed using SPSS 25.0, including descriptive statistics significance testing. Results 131 participated. Demographic characteristics largely comparable. revealed that exhibited accurate to questions related information staining methods. However, optical methods received significantly more inaccurate responses, indicating a lack this area. No significant impact age, gender, or education program observed accuracy responses. Conclusions Despite general awareness lesions, showed notable Enhancements theoretical curricula hands-on clinical training are recommended bridge gap improve capabilities detecting cancer. These findings highlight need continued cancer among professionals.

Molecular characterization of tumors is essential to identify predictive biomarkers that inform treatment decisions and improve precision immunotherapy development administration. However, challenges such as the heterogeneity patient responses, limited efficacy current biomarkers, predominant reliance on single-omics data, have hindered advances in accurately predicting outcomes. Standard therapy generally applies a "one size fits all" approach, which not only provides ineffective or but also an increased risk off-target toxicities acceleration resistance mechanisms adverse effects. As emerging multi- spatial-omics platforms continues evolve, effective tumor assessment platform providing utility clinical setting should i) enable high-throughput robust screening variety biological matrices, ii) provide in-depth information resolved with single subcellular precision, iii) accessibility economical point-of-care settings. In this perspective, we explore application label-free Raman spectroscopy profiling tool for immunotherapy. We examine how spectroscopy's non-invasive, approach can deepen our understanding intricate inter- intra-cellular interactions within tumor-immune microenvironment. Furthermore, discuss analytical spectroscopy, highlighting its evolution be utilized "Raman-omics" approach. Lastly, highlight translational potential integration practice safe precise patient-centric

In parallel with the increasing number of oncological cases, need for faster and more efficient diagnostic tools has also appeared. Different approaches are available, such as radiological imaging or histological staining methods, but these do not provide adequate information regarding resection margin, intraoperatively, time consuming. The purpose this review is to summarize current knowledge on spectrometric modalities suitable intraoperative use, an emphasis their relevance in management oral cancer. literature agrees sensitivity, specificity, accuracy modalities, further long-term prospective, multicentric clinical studies needed, which may standardize assessment margin use real-time spectroscopic approaches.

As a highly prevalent and recurrent cancer, detecting the degree of differentiation in oral cancer is crucial. Current methods rely on biopsies presence significant lesions, which are time-consuming. This study introduces an efficient rapid approach for mass determination levels. By leveraging serum Raman spectroscopy combined with deep neural networks extreme gradient boosting, we performed feature selection interaction samples varying levels, achieving most accurate reliable classification stages.
