Orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) is a typical treatment that corrects malaligned teeth by applying mechanical forces. However, overload often leads to damage of PDL fibroblasts. Sanhuang decoction (SHD) commonly used inhibit inflammation and oxidative stress. the mechanism SHD for OTM still unclear. Therefore, this study attempts explore underlying through relevant experiments.In present paper, we established rat model further explored effects on rats. The were determined micro-CT, pathological changes, width capillaries in observed H&E staining. Subsequently, ROS levels was using flow cytometry analysis with DCFH-DA staining, MDA contents antioxidative enzymes activities also measured commercial kits. Furthermore, autophagy fibroblasts proteins PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway detected immunoluminescence, qPCR western blotting assays.The results showed can alleviate decrease cells induced OTM, improve PDL, as well enhance SOD GSH-Px. Further experiments indicated decreased via promoting phosphorylation mTOR, PI3K Akt proteins.SHD inhibited periodontal ligament during orthodontic inhibiting stress activating PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway. Our findings suggested would be useful management possible disorders occurs therapy.

The pericarp of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim. (ZBM) (Rutaceae), also called Sichuan pepper, is a famous condiment and herbal medicine existing in China dating back over 2000 years. In this paper, we summarized the active compounds pharmacological effects ZBM for regulating glucose lipid metabolism disorders, discussed challenges associated with drug development medicine. So far, more than 100 natural have been reported from ZBM, including amides, volatile oils, flavonoids, etc., amides oil are predominant components ZBM. Current investigations suggested its (such as Hydroxy-α-Sanshool, Hydroxy-β-Sanshool) beneficial ameliorating disorder, such diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, well nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Although previous research has obtained great achievements, there still enormous gaps medicine, future works should be devoted to break through bottlenecks mechanisms, safety, structure modification, clinical efficacy, modern preparation quality control. present review gives comprehensive understanding available regarding on metabolic which would combating disorders.
