Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) has recently been proposed as an alternative term to NAFLD. MASLD is a globally recognized chronic that poses significant health concerns and frequently associated with obesity, insulin resistance, hyperlipidemia. To better understand its pathogenesis develop effective treatments, it essential establish suitable animal models. Therefore, attempts have made modelling approaches are highly similar human diet, physiology, pathology replicate progression. Here, we reviewed the of summarised used models in last 7 years through PubMed database. In addition, commonly describe advantages disadvantages various induction, including genetic models, chemically induced provide directions for research on treatment MASLD.

Metabolic-Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD) is a clinical-pathological scenario that occurs due to the accumulation of triglycerides in hepatocytes which considered significant cause liver conditions and contributes an increased risk death worldwide. Even though possible causes MAFLD can involve interaction genetics, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle (diet sedentary lifestyle) most influential factor developing this condition. Polyphenols comprise many natural chemical compounds be helpful managing metabolic diseases. Therefore, aim review was investigate impact oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, role polyphenols MAFLD. Some reverse part damage related or among them are anthocyanin, baicalin, catechin, curcumin, chlorogenic acid, didymin, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, luteolin, mangiferin, puerarin, punicalagin, resveratrol, silymarin. These have actions reducing plasma enzymes, body mass index, waist circumference, adipose visceral indices, lipids, glycated hemoglobin, insulin resistance, HOMA index. They also reduce nuclear factor-KB (NF-KB), interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), blood pressure, fat content, steatosis fibrosis. On other hand, they improve HDL-c, adiponectin levels, fibrogenesis markers. results show promising prevention treatment

This research aims to leverage existing data sources provide new insights into the usage of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) in built environment without creating a collection process. The study is focused upon vocations, spanning disciplines architecture, construction management, urban planning, real estate, facilities and numerous engineering domains that support capital projects. method utilized Google search engine from Trends academic literature metadata Web Science, which was analyzed using Bibliometrix via Biblioshiny interface. These datasets were cross-referenced with original collected Qualtrics delivered industry questionnaire develop more comprehensive understanding MCDA adoption within environment. presents ranked list methods used vocations order level adoption, top five being PROMETHEE, House Quality, Monte Carlo Simulations, TOPSIS, Utility Theory. results include visualizations for studied papers findings related tool associations key clusters, such as GIS drone based usage, concert methods. paper evidence MCDAs are frequently environmental science, geography, sustainability studies relative other design or oriented use cases. By integrating diverse sources—academic publications, trends, responses—the explores multi-faceted perspective on current state highlighting gaps between focus, practices, public interest. notes often considered an individual basis instead approached broadly set mathematical tools, possibly serving barrier expansive means practitioners might employ.

Oxidative stress has been described as one of the main drivers intracellular damage and metabolic disorders leading to syndrome, a major health problem worldwide. In particular, free radicals alter lipid metabolism promote accumulation in liver, existing hepatic facet dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Recent literature highlighted how nicotine, especially if associated with high-fat diet, exerts negative effect on induction progression MASLD by upregulating inflammation increasing oxidative stress, abdominal fat lipolysis, lipogenesis. Moreover, considerable evidence shows central role intestinal dysbiosis pathogenesis impact nicotine-induced gut microbiome. This results an intricate network which stands at intersection point between microbiome, MASLD. The aim this review is delve into molecular mechanisms linking tobacco smoking MASLD, focusing microbiota modifications their development.

Numerous papers have been published on the microbiota in lung cancer recent years. However, there is still a lack of bibliometric analysis this field. Our paper did analyses and elucidated knowledge structure study hotspots related to patients. We screened publications reporting from 2008 2023 Web Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database, carried out by application VOSviewers, CiteSpace R package "bibliometrix." The 684 documents enrolled were obtained 331 institutions 67 regions 4,661 authors recorded 340 journals. Annual are growing rapidly, countries China, United States Italy contributing most area research. Zhejiang University main research organization.
