Abstract Angiogenesis, a crucial process in tumor growth and metastasis, necessitates targeted therapeutic intervention. This review reviews the latest knowledge of anti-angiogenesis targets tumors, with emphasis on molecular mechanisms signaling pathways that regulate this process. We emphasize microenvironment's role angiogenesis, examine endothelial cell metabolic changes, evaluated potential strategies targeting vascular system. At same time, we analyzed pathway mechanism angiogenesis detail. In addition, paper also looks at development trend drugs, including their future direction challenges, aiming to provide prospective insight into field. Despite potential, anti-angiogenic therapies encounter challenges like drug resistance side effects, necessitating ongoing research enhance cancer treatment efficacy these therapies.

Menopause is the natural period of aging in women induced by ovary deterioration, resulting estrogen deficiency. We evaluated antioxidative and anti-inflammatory properties Cnidium officinale, Pueraria lobata Ohwi, Leonurus japonicus (CPL) extracts on vascular endothelial dysfunction. After treatment, CPL decreased serum lipid profiles, vasoactive substances, tail temperatures, cardiovascular risk indices. In ovariectomized rats, vasodilation significantly increased, with an increase nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) CPL200 CPL500 groups compared OVX group (p < 0.05). The also reduced cell adhesion protein 1 (VCAM-1) CPL50, CPL100, 0.05, p 0.01, 0.001, respectively). Intercellular molecule (ICAM-1) was CPL100 0.001 0.0001, respectively); this achieved through downregulation nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer activated B cells (NF-κB) inducible (iNOS), which resulted synthesis erythroid 2-related 2 (NRF2) eNOS HUVECs. Our results show that could provide cardioprotective effects against endothelium dysfunction decreasing inflammation upregulating vasodilation, ascertained evaluating antioxidant systems rats. Further studies are needed to explore long-term effects.
