Glass strain carp ( Cyprinus carpio ) is highly demanded by farmers due to its delicious, dense meat and fewer spines. To meet the increasing demand for carp, it necessary improve efficiency of aquaculture. The season known stimulate one hormone production. purpose this study was determine effect (rainy dry seasons) on reproductive hormones (follicle stimulating (FSH), luteinizing (LH), testosterone estrogen, interstitial cell-stimulating hormone)) in C. glass strain. Idi research conducted using descriptive method rearing fish different seasons season). results showed that increased during rainy season. During season, changes environment water flow patterns are detected fish's sensory system. highest a row were: ICSH (12.82 pg/mL), FSH (male: 3.73 ng/mL; female: 12.10 ng/mL), LH (12.48 MIU/ml), (9.27 ng/mL) estrogen (21.84 ng/mL). Further needed observe growth abnormality larvae produced .

Reproduction in fishes is sensitive to temperature. Elevated temperatures and anomalous ‘heat waves’ associated with climate change have the potential impact fish reproductive performance and, some cases, even induce sex reversals. Here we examine how thermal sensitivity hormone pathways regulating reproduction provides a framework for understanding impacts of warmer conditions on reproduction. Such effects will differ depending evolved variation temperature endocrine processes determination/differentiation, gametogenesis spawning, as well developmental timing those varies ecology. For populations unable shift geographical range, persistence under future climates may require changes responsiveness processes. How among species, generate maxima reproduction, rapidly tolerances can via adaptation or transgenerational plasticity shape which are most at risk impaired rising temperatures. ABSTRACT Global warming is upsetting for aquatic species, and probiotic treatment may help to diminish its impacts. In order counter the negative consequences of elevated temperature on growth well‐being, rearing water rohu ( Labeo rohita ) was supplemented with multispecies probiotics (1.0 mL/L). For 6 weeks, fingerlings weighing 10.08 ± 0.13 g were raised in triplicate at normal (30°C) higher temperatures (33°C 36°C) or without probiotics. Fish treated showed substantial decreases weight gain (WG) specific rate (SGR) 36°C contrast (30°C). However, fish reared enhanced WG SGR highest (36°C) compared maintained group under high‐temperature conditions, haemoglobin levels increased while glucose decreased. The number irregularities cells nuclei erythrocytes dramatically reduced probiotic‐treated 36°C. relative mRNA level three growth‐relevant genes (growth hormone, gh , pituitary; insulin‐like factor 1 2, igf‐1 igf‐2 liver) decreased increasing but rose after addition. revealed a notable upregulation regarding expression stress‐associated heat shock protein 70 90 hsp70 hsp90 ), whereas their expressions lowered following administration. Considering as whole, addition improved blood biochemistry cellular structure GH IGF which consequently relieved retardation stress rohu.

Female fish experiencing atypically high or prolonged elevations in temperature during oogenesis can suffer impaired oocyte development with fewer smaller eggs, eggs reduced yolk content thinner envelopes, and lower egg viability. These changes quality quantity are part caused by diminished liver synthesis of (vitellogenin, Vtg) envelope (choriogenin) proteins at anomalously temperatures. Those declines Vtg choriogenin production commonly paralleled blood concentrations 17β-estradiol (E2). However, it is unclear whether vitellogenin elevated temperatures result solely from circulating E2 if other aspects signaling also altered to diminish proteins. In this study, adult female Amargosa River pupfish (Cyprinodon nevadensis amargosae), a species asynchronous follicular development, were maintained 20 °C, 28 36 °C then administered vehicle solution. Ovarian gonadosomatic index (GSI) values plasma females compared those cooler Females had protein, abundances for mRNAs encoding genes (vtgAa, vtgAb, vtgc), (cgh, cghm, cgl), estrogen receptor α (esr1). Supplemental increased all temperatures, but only upregulated despite upregulation hepatic esr1 transcripts exhibited higher mRNA sex hormone-binding globulin (shbg) cytochrome P450 family 1 subfamily A member (cyp1a1), an estrogen-metabolizing monooxygenase enzyme that converts 2-hydroxyestradiol. Together, these findings indicate stimulation expression via effects on several including as well shbg cyp1a1 expression, which may free:bound the rate inactivation. results demonstrate replacement help compensate temperature-induced gene pupfish.

This review highlights the recent developments regarding neuroendocrine mechanisms controlling teleost reproduction. In teleosts, pituitary gland receives major neuronal innervations from Gnrh neurons as well minor small population of that will secrete neurotransmitters and/or neuropeptides. The diversity Kiss/Kissr system in various species and their actions context HPG axis reproduction has been extensively covered. model systems, zebrafish medaka, mutant lines for key components have generated through targeted mutagenesis but surprisingly most mutants developed normally without defects reproduction; these phenotypes are described. last decade, complex role diverse neuropeptides is being revealed. A brief overview about reproductive functions presented. Finally, effects environmental factors namely photoperiodism temperature on summarised.
