Many engineering and healthcare systems are featured with spatiotemporal dynamic processes. The optimal control of such often involves sequential decision making. However, traditional decision-making methods not applicable to optimize that complex 3D geometries. Simulation modeling offers an unprecedented opportunity evaluate alternative options search for the plan. In this paper, we develop a novel simulation optimization framework systems. We first propose measure similarity between functional outputs using coherence assess effectiveness actions. Second, Gaussian Process (GP) model by constructing valid kernel based on Hausdorff distance estimate different paths. Finally, devise new Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) algorithm, i.e., Normal-Gamma GP MCTS (NG-GP-MCTS), sequentially dynamics. implement NG-GP-MCTS algorithm design ablation path restoring normal sinus rhythm (NSR) from atrial fibrillation (AF). performance cardiac in geometry.
