Bent branches are commonly utilized in cut roses to enhance commercial flower quality through increased nutrient production and biomass. Rice production in a rain-fed environment during the reproductive period is significantly hindered by drought, which one of critical issues limiting yield. Therefore, finding grain yield-related quantitative trait loci (QTL) stage can potentially provide researchers with additional benefits when taken context marker-assisted breeding. CT-9993 and Samba Mashuri were considered to develop recombinant inbred lines (RILs) for tagging QTLs associated drought tolerance. During dry wet experimental conditions, there was significant difference yield yield-attributing variables. Sixty polymorphic microsatellite markers utilized genotype RILs employing Inclusive Composite Interval Mapping (ICIM). Tree peony (Paeonia section Moutan DC.) is a traditional ornamental flower of China, which has thousands varieties with different colors and types after long history natural selection artificial breeding. However, tree perennial woody plant breeding, there are still significant challenges to accelerate the process genetic improvement important traits. Garden roses are an economically important horticultural crop worldwide, and two major fungal pathogens, black spot (Diplocarpon rosae F.A. Wolf) cercospora leaf of rose (Rosisphaerella rosicola Pass.), affect both the health ornamental value plant. Most studies on disease resistance have focused diploid germplasm, little work has been performed resistance. With use newly developed software tools for autopolyploid genetics, interconnected tetraploid garden F1 populations (phenotyped over course 3 years) were used quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis as well plant defoliation. QTLs mapped to linkage groups (LGs) 1-6. susceptibility found in LGs 1, 4, 5 defoliation 3, 5. The LG coincides with previously discovered Rdr4 inherited from Rosa L. 'Radbrite' (Brite Eyes™), common parent these mapping populations. This is first report any QTL resistance/susceptibility germplasm roses. A (Rdr4). was 1. Assessing and determining genetic diversity in rose species is a crucial step for conservation efforts, the establishment of core collection, development new varieties. R. centifolia L.) are distinct other indicating unique pool these roses. Another important Tunisian ‘Rose Ariana’ closely related commonly known as May’ Grasse, France. To clarify phylogeny this or subspecies, further molecular studies warranted. Additionally, nomenclature confusion between sempervirens L. canina northwestern region all wild correspond sempervirens.
