Abstract Increasing the productivity of cereals such as maize while protecting environment remains a fundamental impetus healthy food production systems. The soils found in the Kharga oasis Egypt have been identified as having low levels of nitrogen and organic matter, along with high pH salinity. These conditions make it difficult for plants to absorb essential micronutrients. In order address this issue, a study was conducted main objective evaluating interactive effect potassium humate, zinc, fertilization on grain yield maize its various components. consisted two field experiments that took place during growing seasons 2022 2023 at research station Desert Research Center Kharga, located western desert Egypt. treatments involved three different humate zinc combinations, including 20 kg/ha 375 ppm combination both, which were compared control group. Additionally, four applied, ranging from 100 400 kg/ha. results revealed highest most significant yields observed both when applied together, resulting 10,436 10,590 first second seasons, respectively. Biostimulants are presented as a potential tool to achieve the main objectives of modern agriculture: increase crop yield and nutritional quality while reducing chemical fertilizer use. Here, we investigated use HS-based product (BLACKJAK®, from Sofbey S.A., Mendrisio, Switzerland) biostimulant enhance plant growth, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) efficiency, well antioxidant capacity. For this purpose, BLACKJAK® was applied lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) radicular (‘R’) foliar (‘F’) at doses: 0.20 mL/L (R1), 0.40 (R2), 0.60 (R3), 0.80 (R4), 5.00 (F1), 7.50 (F2), 10.00 (F3), 12.50 (F4), along with control. Shoot fresh weight (FW) dry (DW), leaf area, NPK efficiency parameters, capacity were evaluated. Our results showed that R1, R2, R3, F2, F3 enhanced shoot FW only R3 increased DW. Furthermore, in general, most doses employed parameters such apparent recovery, nutrient export, physiological internal utilization nutrients. Similarly, HS also ascorbate, glutathione, phenol concentrations, showing an improvement measured through FRAP (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power) TEAC (Trolox Equivalent Capacity) assays. Overall, root-HS offered better than foliar-HS, especially R3. Hence, our indicate could be good candidate productivity fertilizers.
