Information on genetic diversity and its relationship is fundamental for the preservation improvement of orchid germplasm. For Dendrobium, such information, particularly by a meta-analysis, was limited. The study aimed to assess relationships Dendrobium germplasm based bioactive compounds, their biological activities, plant organs meta-analysis approach. A total 51 species have been collected identified as producing including activities (parts). In this case, highest shown polyphenols (H' index = 0.90) substances, neuroprotective 0.80) activity, leaf organ with an H' 0.89. UPGMA analysis showed that grouped into seven clusters, where furthest presented D. moschatum catenatum. However, closest relation scabrilingue delacourii, snowflake ovatum. Following these parameters, shows unique relationships. Thus, it valuable future programs Dendrobium.

Abstract The seasonal flowering Chinese Cymbidium produce an axillary floral meristem and require a dormancy period during cold conditions for flower development. However, the bud activation mechanism remains elusive. This study evaluates multi-omics across six stages of development, along with functional analysis core genes to decipher innate initiation outgrowth in orchid sinense. Transcriptome proteome analyses identified 10 modules essential roles activation. Gene clusters early development were mainly related time regulation determination, while late correlated hormone signaling pathways. metabolome 69 potential hormones which gibberellin (GA) abscisic acid (ABA) main regulatory hubs, GA4 GA53 exhibited reciprocal loop. Extraneous GA application caused rapid elongation buds promoted expression genes. Contrarily, exogenous ABA extended process inhibitors induced release. Moreover, CsAPETALA1 (CsAP1) was as target Transformation CsAP1 Arabidopsis its transient overexpression C. sinense protoplasts not only affected organ morphogenesis but also orchestrated presence response elements promoter, downregulation after application, inhibitor treatment suggest that can control through CsAP1.

Bibenzyl derivatives comprising two benzene rings are secondary plant metabolites with significant therapeutic value. To date, bibenzyl in the Plant kingdom have been primarily identified bryophytes, orchids, and Cannabis sativa . The metabolic cost investment by species for synthesis of these bioactive is rationalized as a mechanism defense response to oxidative stress induced biotic/abiotic factors. synthesized from core phenylpropanoid biosynthetic pathway offshoots species. Mangrove mangrove associate thrive under extreme ecological niches such hypersaline intertidal environment through unique adaptive acclimative characteristics, involving osmotic adjustments followed abatement. Several primary/secondary components salinity adaptation/acclimation/mitigation; however, existence scaffold functioning this context remains unknown. We here report confirmed detection extensive gas chromatography-mass spectrometry chromatography-flame ionization analyses 28 Indian Sundarbans. speculate that common presence molecule may be related its via branches high salinity, which functions detoxify reactive oxygen protection maintenance processes. This finding reveals new eco-physiological functional role bibenzyls ecosystem.

Introduction Paphiopedilum barbigerum is currently the rarest and most endangered species of orchids in China has significant ornamental value. The mature seeds P. are difficult to germinate owing absence an endosperm highly dependent on mycorrhizal fungi for germination subsequent development. However, little known about regulation mechanisms symbiosis symbiotic seeds. Methods Herein, transcriptomics proteomics were used explore changes after inoculation with (FQXY019 treatment group) or without (control Epulorhiza sp. FQXY019 at 90 days germination. Results Transcriptome sequencing revealed that a total 10,961 differentially expressed genes (DEGs; 2,599 upregulated 8,402 downregulated) identified control groups. These DEGs mainly involved carbohydrate, fatty acid, amino acid metabolism. Furthermore, expression levels candidate related nodulin, Ca 2+ signaling, plant lectins significantly affected Subsequently, tandem mass tag-based quantitative was performed recognize proteins (DEPs), 537 DEPs (220 317 enriched processes including photosynthesis, photosynthesis-antenna proteins, biosynthesis Discussion This study provides novel insight underlying vitro seed protocorm development by using compatible fungal symbiont will benefit reintroduction orchids.

Orchids are among the most precious flowers in world. Regulation of flowering time is one important targets to enhance their ornamental value. The beauty Arundina graminifolia its year-round flowering, although molecular mechanism this ability remains masked. Therefore, we performed a comprehensive assessment integrate transcriptome and miRNA sequencing disentangle genetic regulation valuable species. Clustering analyses provided set regulators floral transition morphogenesis. We mined candidate homeotic genes, including FCA, FPA, GI, FT, FLC, AP2, SOC1, SVP, TCP, CO, which were targeted by variety miRNAs. MiR11091 highest number phase hormonal control. conserved miR156-miR172 pathway was evident our data, found these miRNAs transcriptome. Moreover, endogenous hormone levels determined decipher control buds A. graminifolia. qRT-PCR analysis integrators validated expression. miRNA-mediated mining genes with forms basis for comprehending complex regulatory network perpetual orchids. findings study can do great deal broaden breeding programs manipulation

Traditional medicines play an important role in protecting the health of all ethnic groups around world, and their importance development medical services cannot be overstated. The Orchidaceae family includes some most beautiful flowers each with its own unique shape, color, form. Potted cut flower orchids are big business because bioactive components them great for your health. Arundima graminifolia (Orchidaceae) has been extensively used wide range ethnopharmacological activities, including rheumatism, food poisoning, snake bites, traumatic injuries, detoxification heat clearance. It is also utilized to treat pneumonia, tuberculosis bronchitis by people. recent two decades fruitful achievements chemical constituent investigations have laid a foundation study therapeutically material basis action mechanism, which will help clarify broad-spectrum mechanism develop into modern pharmaceutical preparation.
